@Blackhandsaint, that matter has been discussed and disclosed, further discussion on the matter would be both unnecessary and mucking up the deck page.

@TheBoraxKid, right after I finish watching this episode of Fairy Tail, I'm going to run a few tests with the changes. I don't think I've ever thought of correlating vamps with midrange, I've always just used them in aggro. So in other words, the decision so far is pretty interesting to me, and like I said, I'm gonna run some play tests because it's fun :)

I agree 100% with the people saying the Name of this deck is offensive. I dont really give a fuck if the matter has already been discussed, im gonna continue discussing it some more. People who think its cute to name a deck something like this are part of the reason why people perceive this as a game for 14 year old boys. Words can hurt people, grow the fuck up.

Sorry, your deck is shit.

Awhhh.. You huwt my feelings.. You keep this up and I might have to report you. ;PI will ask you once and only once.. Please stop posting on my deck. :)

You arent playing Vampire Nocturnus or Kalastria Highborn or anything that rewards you for playing all these subpar creatures but you have them in your deck nonetheless. Obviously you managed to find 145 people who are just as bad as you are, good work.

August 6, 2015 5:46 p.m.

You both made me cry and rose a valid point. I recently changed my deck around and now there is no synergy between Vampires. That being said, I have been considering Kalastria Highborn. :PNow go away ya big meany :)

Best damn Vamps deck I've ever seen. But seriously, change the name. There are some things that it's just not okay to joke about, and having seen people in the aftermath...just do the right thing. Please.

You can call it whatever you want. Obviously the mods decided for some reason that this is okay. But just because you are allowed to do something doesn't mean you should, thats all i'm trying to say.

"Sorry, your deck is shit."

Is it just me, or do these comments have the intent of insult? And no, no one can downplay this, they were obviously meant to insult Borax, and frankly, that's rather disgusting to insult someone thusly, especially a complete stranger. Not to mention, by your logic, please remove the following words from your vocabulary: "fuck" and "shit." As I find them rather offensive.

"If we ban rape I think we've definitely got to ban murder too. reading the description I don't find any clue that this user is mocking or making light of the victims of sexual violence or is perpetuating it's occurrence in society. Feel free to Google "the rape of"... there's plenty of professional and academic sources reaching back decades which use the imagery to describe something else besides sexual assault." - yeaSavior (runs the site)

Also, I think the last point to be made would be this: Seriously? Why muck up the deck page with comments like this? This is someone's deck, and they have the full intent of looking for *constructive criticism pertaining to the deck itself,* not complaints or offensive comments about it's name. Honestly, could we please just stop this and discuss the deck itself? Come on, we're all friends here, members of the same community, there's no reason for quarrels.

@TheBoraxKid, deck ran rather nicely. I must admit, the idea of vamps in something other than aggro threw me off at first, but all in all, it gets the job done. And it does a fine job of doing so. Overall win-lose ratio of the tests: 7-3

I commend your efforts again, good job man.

NoviceMagician: As always, wonderfully put my friend. After several years of playing the "Change your deck name"- "No thank you" game, I grow tired of even defending it anymore and would rather just let people get mad :PThat being said, I find it extremely ironic how people basically say the name of a deck can potentially offend people, yet commence to intentionally try to offend and insult me. I just think it's funny.Bottom line.. not changing the deck name of course.Although EricTorre made some mean comments, he brought up a good point. I was running all Vampire creatures with nothing to tie them in, so I have reconsidered Kalastria Highborn to ping for some points of damage.Seeing how my Midrange build has become a more grindy type of playstyle, I think Kalastria could find a nice home back in this deck.Thoughts?

Who cares about a name. Words were created by man, therefor they have no real meaning. You can give something, you can also take something away, so quite worrying about what the deck is called and focus on what it is, a badass deck that doesn't forgive. Just grow up everyone. This is a site for magic, not for reality. +1

August 6, 2015 6:28 p.m.

Yeah, she could definitely wedge herself back in here. It'd sure help to get in more damage and speed it up a bit. Plus, 2 life is nice. From what I can tell so far, she only seems to give benefits to your sacs and such, but some play testing never hurts either.

I sincerely hope you both understand that you are absolutely wrong and are contributing to existing negative stereotypes of magic players. Also, don't bother pointing out that i'm swearing at you because its "mean." That presupposes that i should have respect for you, and i do not. Respect is earned. I did not respect you the second i saw the name of your deck. Thats how society works, you don't get to laugh at rape jokes and expect people to be nice to you in the real world.

I strongly suggest you think about how you would feel if you come across a deck with a name like this if YOU YOURSELF were a victim of sexual violence. Feel free to call me a hypocrite because i'm being mean to you, just recognize the fact that that makes you delusional.

@SirFowler: Well put my friend, well put.

SirFowler, the problem is that if we ignore reality, bad things happen. I'm usually fine with things like this, but about 3 months ago a friend of mine from college was raped. Around the 4th of July she chugged a bottle of sleeping pills and didn't wake up. Before, she was extremely happy, optimistic and hopeful...not anymore. That's why this name is offensive. People get hurt. And words bite as much as the thickest lash.

August 6, 2015 6:37 p.m.

NoviceMagician: Agreed. I'll give her a bit of testing. And as always, if you've got time feel free. You are one of my biggest supporters and I cannot thank you enough my friend.

Words matter. Pretending like they don't is immature.

SirFowler says... #22

Then quite posting and move on with your lives. If you think an online deck name is offensive, then check out the real world. This is child's play compared to what is truly out there. Do you think one deck list name really changes anything? No, it doesn't. It is truly worthless if you're looking at a subjective standpoint. So quite giving so much care about the internet. If you do, then you lose your grip on reality.

I love this game and i don't like seeing people ruin it for others, whether they mean to or not. Thats all.

August 6, 2015 6:47 p.m.

SirFowler says... #24

Then leave it alone. Life is so much more than comments and posts. The only way to accept reality is to let things go completely because you can not win against everything that life throws at you. Do you think I am still obsessing about my grandfather passing away? No. I accepted that this is the world we live in and sometimes that is all that we can do. So I ask you, is this truly worth your time when you can move on to bigger and better things?

August 6, 2015 6:50 p.m.

A name of a deck, on a website dedicated to helping each other and having cool beans with each other, and how does that ruin the game?

Other people can never ruin anything, people ruin it for themselves by believing so.

@TheBoraxKid, I'm getting off soon to finish up the stuffed shells I have cooking, but tomorrow if D&D or PF don't happen, I'll definitely run the tests. If D&D or PF do happen, then it'll prolly just be late in the day when I post tomorrow.
