A "Wilds of Eldraine" Precon, this deck is about enchanting your creatures with as Auras as possible, and getting the value that comes with it, as well as showing off the new "Role" Aura Tokens that Wilds of Eldraine introduces.

The deck's face commanders, Ellivere of the Wild Court, has a very special role in life. A Virtuous Role, you might say, as he is (currently) the only card able to create this special Role. Those considered Virtuous will grow larger and larger the more enchantments you control, so you'll need to make sure you can have as many enchantments as possible.

The second effect of Ellivere makes this job easier by letting you draw a card every time an enchanted creature you control hit a player in combat. Pair this up with either an Angelic Destiny or a Indomitable Might, and you'll be swimming in card advantage. Ellivere sure knows how to keep those they deem Virtuous in good health.

The back-up commander is Gylwain, Casting Director, and he wants everyone to play their part in the show! Whenever he or another non-token creature enters the battlefield, Gylwain creates a new Role for them to play. Whether you need to ward a creature with a Royal Role, threaten your opponents with a Monster Role, or need to look for answers with a Sorcerer role, Gylwain has you covered.

Plus, the stories you can tell with this commander. Maybe that Setessan Champion is secretly a monster who thirsts for blood? Or maybe that Aura Gnarlid is actually royalty whose been turned into a gnarlid? Whether you're telling original stories or those based on recent events, the stage is yours to direct.

The first reprint commander for the deck is the Syr Armont, the Redeemer. A "reprint" card that debuts from the main set, she leads a legion of monsters on the battlefield. Literally, as she creates a Monster Role token for another creature as soon as she comes in. She also considered a lord for your enchanted creatures, so all Monster Roles allow your creatures to hit even harder.

By increasing their combat prowess with other Auras like Daybreak Coronet and Ethereal Armor and show your enemies the monsters at Syr Armount commands!

The second reprint commander for the deck is the Siona, Captain of the Pyleas. Printed before in Theros Beyond Death, this soldier is no stranger to Aura shenanigans. Apart of a two-card infinite token combo (with Shielded by Faith, who does not appear in this deck), Siona creates a 1/1 every time you successful put an Aura on a creature, thus growing your token army.

Playing a balancing game between repeatable Auras and Token synergies, Siona can definitely snowball your game if you balance yourself on the spear's tip.

As an Auras deck, a key piece is having quality creatures to enchant with those auras, and some new bodies just arrived. Timber Paladin starts as a lowly knight but as he becomes more and more enchanted, he grows into an absolute powerhouse! Perhaps you prefer something more defensive? If so, Ox Drover is able to use savvy business abilities to get you cards in exchange for given an opponent a 2/4 Oxen. Don't worry though, those Oxen are loyal and won't stop their true master coming through. But what if you have no Aura's in hand? Lucky for you, Knickknack Ouphe will let you look through the top of your deck for all the Auras you want to put onto the battlefield. This Ouphe is willing to search deep too, depending on how much mana you give him.

But what about as you approach the end game? Auras don't stick around once their creatures are gone, so how do we get them back? Well now, we have some new options for that. Giant Inheritance is the next piece in the "destiny" aura cycle, which results in it returning to hand if it hits the grave from the battlefield, so you'll always have an aura in hand. Liberated Livestock tells the short story of how some poor animals were sacrificed, only to became enchanted (for the grave) to prevent their terrible fate. A total flavour win! Like many creatures, they no doubt had Unfinished Business, another new card that returns a creature from the grave attached with up to two Auras and/or Equipment. A practical piece for many players out there.

As with most precons, there are several notable reprints and with this deck's Aura theme, Auras are the name of the day. The land-untapping Bear Umbra gets a reprint, as does the amazing Daybreak Coronet, but the real prize is Hall of Heliod's Generosity. Only printed in Modern Horizons 1 and it's Timeshifted style, this land is a must-have in all Enchantment-based strategies and it's inclusion here will hopefully drop the price so more players can pick it up.

Overall, this deck is aimed at players who want to play the new "Role Token" mechanic, as well as those players among us who just love the value that Enchantress bring. Between this and the recent Enduring Enchantments precon, it's a good time to get into Enchantment decks.
