Some cards I like in my Vish deck include Sun Titan , Animate Dead , Yosei, the Morning Star . I was playing one of those time walk/ counterspell decks last night and he didn't like the fact he never got to untap again 8P.

Yes of course, I put the cards I want from Theros to maybeboard. I put them on the actual decklist once I have them. Btw, do you think that Erebos should be added too?

It's a great deck. I would suggest running Horobi, Death's Wail . That way you can target all of your opponent's creatures with Vish Kal, Blood Arbiter without even having or needing to remove counters. As soon as they're targeted, they die :D

LiquidKid unfortunately, that wouldn't work, as according to game rules, you can only sacrifice creatures that you control. you can't sacrifice other players' creatures.

canterlotguardian actually, Liquidkid is referring to Vish Kals second ability. Even though Vish Kal doesnt have any counters on him, he can still "remove" all of them to a target creature. And as Horobi's ability says, the target creature gets destroyed even though no -1/-1 was put on it.

LiquidKid That could be a good idea, but I think it would benefit opponents too, and the combo is quite fragile. I also think that it might not work too great for other creatures in my deck. But thanks for suggestion, I'll always appreciate others help and opinions :)

Yeah no worries. One kid played that combo on myself and 3 others and we all bit the dust after that. that's why i suggested it. =)

I have similar Vish Deck. Nim Deathmantle is pretty nuts whenever it sees the battlefield. You may want some lower end sac outlets as well such as Viscera Seer or Ashnod's Altar

Viscera Seer could be a good idea, I have to think about it. I have tried Nim Deathmantle but it didn't seem to work so well because of the high mana cost, plus it usually gets destroyed before doing anything :P Thanks for suggestions :)

I haven't been sure how it would work in my deck. I guess I should just try it out. Do you mean to use it with combos and such?
October 14, 2013 10:50 a.m.
Well there are combos that work with it, like Exquisite Blood and Sanguine Bond, but I was more thinking along the lines that you remove a lot of your opponent's creatures, and sacrifice your own.

Yep, I think it would actually be a good card for this deck. Do you have any idea what could it could replace? and thanks for suggesting :)

Haven't really tried that card, but I think it wouldn't do very much. The card itself is very good. Also one reason is that I have no idea what card it could replace. Maybe i'll try it out at some point though, because it might do some interesting things :D

I would think Illusionist's Bracers would work really well with him. Along the same lines as that, you have Rings of Brighthearth and Strionic Resonator .

Strionic Resonator seems pretty interesting, works also with mana abilities. Many cards in the deck seem to work with it. Have to give it a try, but do you have any idea which card it could replace? and thanks for the suggestion :)

I might consider dropping Disenchant and/or Beseech the Queen . I realize that both cards can be useful at times, I just feel like the are a little underwhelming at times though...especially when you can duplicate abilities.

Okay, I'll probably drop Disenchant , atleast for now. I'm interested to see how Strionic Resonator works.
October 17, 2013 10:29 a.m.
I would probably go with Illusionist's Bracers over the Strionic Resonator to start off with...only because the Resonator doesn't work with your general since it only applies to triggered abilities not activated ones.

Illusionist's Bracers works almost only with my commander, so it wouldn't do very much. That's why I didn't think it would work in the deck. Strionic Resonator works with so many cards, that's why it could be interesting.

You could add a pentavus instead of the triskelion to get infinite amounts of 1-1 tokens
