Sol Ring is banned in Legacy, legal only in Vintage and EDH where it's restricted to one card.

I would suggest cutting the deck to 60 cards with 4x copies of the best creatures. A good core would be:

4x Stromkirk Noble

4x Bloodghast

4x Gatekeeper of Malakir

4x Vampire Nighthawk

4x Falkenrath Aristocrat

2-3x Olivia Voldaren

Next add disruption like removal and discard:

4x Hymn to Tourach4x Thoughtsieze4x Lightning Helix4x Swords to Plowshares

Perhaps even Sinkhole would be good, if even for the sideboard.

Finally add 22-23 lands with as many duals (like Badlands , Blood Crypt , Scrubland , Godless Shrine ) and fetchlands (such as Arid Mesa , Bloodstained Mire , and Marsh Flats ) as you can. Wasteland would also be a great add as a 2-3x of.

You make a fair point aeon, but this deck is designed more as a fun deck for me as opposed to a serious competitive deck, I should change the tag to casual, sorry, I didn't know that I forgot to do that when I recently acquired Sol Ring , not to mention, I don't particularly want to go and buy a bunch of new cards. Unfortunately I know very few magic players, and Falkenrath Aristocrat is hard to come by.

Right on. Even so, you'll vastly improve consistency by cutting the deck to 60 cards and having multiples.

This is actually the one deck I own that I really don't want consistency. Haha. This is the deck I pull out if I'm having a bad day, or if i just really want to mess with someone. :P I love getting Vish Kal, Blood Arbiter and Necropolis Regent at the same time, particularly if i have Trepanation Blade equipped to Vish Kal, Blood Arbiter

Nice. I enjoy casual decks with one ofs. Adds flavor in my opinion. Although i dont often run more than 60 cards. Still, it seems fun.

I bought a deck box with 80 sleeves, so I figured i may as well use all of them. haha

Casual Vampires... i love Casual Vampires,

While i agree that the deck will run better whit only 60 cards, i myself am currently runing mine at 67 because there are so many cool one-offs

Then again if you want to use your 80 sleeves you could run a 60 card deck a 15 card side deck and use the last five for tokens (1/1 Lifelink, 2/2 Flying, Sorin and Lilianas Emblems)

Check Out My Backstreet Boys for ideas and help me figure out what to cut

I agree with the other that I don't like going over 60 in any deck other than EDH, even using one of each. My initial reaction was "THIRTY-FIVE LAND??" and then I realized there are 80 cards here. Also--why have I not come across Killing Wave until now??

I love Killing Wave haha. Also, the only reason this deck has 80 cards is because I have the 15th anniversary Black Lotus card box and sleeves. That is how many sleeves it came with and it felt like a waste not to use them. Haha. This is literally the only deck I own over 60 cards.

Anger could be good, you can easily sac it with your vamps. He's basically a Fervor body.

I dig the changes and the change ups in the SB. Very nice. I went without the sb in favor of more "competitive" MB but to each their own. Wish i could +1 again bro!

Thanks! Haha. I can't make this too competitive or my friends won't play it. :) Hence the 20 card funness. Haha

Really thinking about breaking down and just turning this into one hell of an EDH deck Hallowed_Titan. What do you think? I would keep it Mardu by running Oros, the Avenger as my commander...perhaps Zurgo Helmsmasher, hmm...though I would rarely play either if them. I would consider Olivia Voldaren, but I REALLY love Vish Kal, Blood Arbiter. I would use him as a commander, but then I lose almost half my vampires...and Olivia. Haha. What would you recommend?

Definitely zurgo. I think its a good idea. Keeps all the cards together ; )

Nah, it would require some serious refining. While I am not opposed to investing the time, right now my primary concern financially is my Faeries deck. I have been planning on attempting a control oriented vampire build recently. I may actually get around to it at some point. I can't decide between Esper or Mardu though. Maybe plan and test both, then build my favorite... Thanks for the inspiration to finally start working on it! :p I think I'll work on the mardu midrange version tomorrow and the experience control list tonight. :p
