I liked the look of this so much that I actually built it verbatim. Its playing great and I love all of the mechanics you came up with. I have one question for you. Did you ever experiment with Lone Rider on the sideboard to be swapped with your Terrarium? I did this and I was able to use either Blessed Alliance or Chaplain's Blessing to get it to flip turn 2 or 3. 4/4 first strike, trample, lifelink isn't to shabby. Thanks so much for putting this together. Its awesome.

Thank you for all your praise, scarson300!

I have tried the Lone Rider  Flip combo that you mentioned, but it's in a different deck. A mono-white standard deck based off of that combo and the Heirloom + Missionaries combo. It was effective, but not as characterful and fun as this, so I quit the design in favor of Lovely Hanweir.

That being said, if it works for you, go for it!

I have one more question for you Panzerforge if its not to much trouble. I have been practicing a good bit with this deck but sadly I am often coming up against not being able to bring out more than 3 Eldrazi horrors before I am either out of cards in my hand or my opponent has a formidable force of larger creatures. Have you envisioned any way to possibly bump the deck up a bit to be able to deal with a slower start?

Question. why do you have Stone Quarry and not Needle Spires? The spires comes into the taped like the quarry, it adds the same mana as the quarry, but you can make it a creature if you have spare mana. Other that that +1

@ThatGuy610

I'd venture to guess it is because Needle Spires rotates out in a month.

@ThatGuy610

Correction, sorry it doesn't rotate out yet, silly me.

jp9506 & ThatGuy610, it's because the entire deck is SOI/EMN block.

Sorry, my first post got messed up when I published it.

I am going to build this deck, mostly because it looks awesome, and I have most of the cards already.

Have you thought about Evolving Wilds (http://evolvingwilds) to get the land in the yard for another Delirium trigger?

Also, I have two Thalia Heretic Cathars (http://thaliahereticcathar), and was thinking about putting her into the deck. Have you tried her in it?

Lastly, how cool would it be to have Emrakul in here for flavor...she floats over Hanweir, and the township just goes mad.

Geo67, I generally don't have an issue with not getting delirium. Terrarion and Vessel of Volatility put them selves in the graveyard, as do all the instants and sorceries, and Extricator of Sin is good at putting creatures there. Failing all that, discard a land to pay for Tormenting Voice, and get a two-for-two.

I have considered Thalia, Heretic Cathar but opted for her Lieutenant instead. Thalia's Lieutenant + Hanweir Garrison is a runaway train. Thalia herself is too much on Team Sorin/Gatewatch for me anyway. I'm all in for team Nahiri/Emrakul.

Speaking of Emrakul, yes, it would be nice to have her there, but her high cost and lack of synergy with the rest of the deck just don't work for me.

Thanks for taking the time to look at my deck!

p.s., if you put card names between two [ and two ] you get things like Blacker Lotus.

Thank you. I will remember the card trick. It's frustrating not being able to link the cards to roll over pics.

I plan on buying [thalia's lieutenant].

Hello.I really like your deck. It is cheap and effective. Are you planning any update? I think few cards from Kaladesh or Aether revolt could improve it a lot.

Thank you for the comment MrSnake1733, I am currently kicking around a few cards from KLD and AER for this deck, mostly to try to keep it relevant.
In particular after AER was released, I've found this deck is a little too slow to be much of a threat to its Kaldeshi Cousins.
Unsurprisingly, most of what I'm considering is to either slow down my opponent or remove pesky artifacts, or let me hit a lot harder. Cards I'll likely be removing are Skin Invasion  Flip and Vessel of Volatility in favor of better enchantments like Authority of the Consuls and Call for Unity. This will, of course, push this closer to being a White/Splash Red deck, but that's fine with me.

Hey, doesn't every good town need a Village Messenger  Flip or a Thraben Gargoyle  Flip? see what I did their 8) +1

Still one of the coolest decks. I actually ran into a watered down version of it in a MOnday Night Standard, it did not go well for me.

Darsul, I'm already running the Thraben Gargoyle  Flip, and it works great as it is two card types towards delirium, a great bargain. The werewolf, on the other hand, I'll have to test. I like the idea, and have been considering replacing Skin Invasion  Flip.

Thanks Geo67! I still like this deck, even if it lacks the speed of a newer AER deck.

/facepalm proof reading is a good thing, the or should be over.

Panzerforge says... #18

Ah, no, certainly not over, Darsul.
The fact that the gargoyle is an artifact creature that I can sac to the extricator T3 to get a horror and +2 types to delirium is game-winning.
Then the ability to flip into a flying bruiser early with Vessel of Volatility is just brutal.

How do you feel about Renegade Map over Terrarion? Renegade Map sacs for free but Terrarion draws you a card, so I guess it comes down to what do you need more, speed or card draw.

Panzerforge says... #20

Terrarion for sure, because I often sac them to Extricator of Sin's ETB to get a Horror Token AND draw a card.
