Okay, so the first version of this deck won the pro tour. We need to make this good enough to withstand the blue devotion deck (that also won the pro tour) that's going around.

The original version killed people by draining their life with Blood Artist and bashing them with the tokens produced from Voice of Resurgence and Skirsdag High Priest. With those cards now gone, we need another approach. This is what I've come up with, please comment and let me know your thoughts.

Alright so I still like the idea about bashing away at them with the tokens from Voice of Resurgence. A couple of newer cards were added such as Scavenging Ooze, not really sure just looked cool and fit the theme and Imposing Sovereign, to slow down the remaining aggro decks going around. Fleecemane Lion was added just because it's a 3/3 for two mana. And I can make it indestructible hexproof if I really wanted to, but dropping a 3/3 on turn 2 may help against aggro and put them on the defensive a little faster. Sylvan Caryatid is a great mana fixer and a good blocker early game, so why not put it in there. Whip of Erebos and Bow of Nylea were added because I really enjoy lifelink and deathtouch (more lifelink than deathtouch). On a side note, I played this deck the other night and played my Whip of Erebos and had a couple of tokens from Voice of Resurgence, I had 227 life when I ended the game.... Just saying. lol :) Last 2 new cards added... Doom Blade and Hero's Downfall, pretty self explanatory, they have a creature or planeswalker you don't like, get rid of it. lol
