I think that your Trostani, Selesnya's Voice should be main board, Along with 2 Sundering Growth since it catches Boon Satyr and Detention Sphere .

Also, I think Alive / Well is probably too slow for the curve on this deck. Check out my version and see what you think. http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/procreation/

ragos87 thanks for the suggestions. I had Trostani, Selesnya's Voice in the deck for a while but rotated her out for other cards. I'd love to have something to protect Detention Sphere .

ragos87 I'll take a look at your deck as well for ideas. Thanks!

Well Sundering Growth is great main because of all of the G/W, U/W and Esper floating around. It will catch that awful Boon Satyr in G/W since it is an enchantment creature and then on the flip side also catch Detention Sphere . It also populates which makes it heck-a good in the current meta.

ragos87 I'll figure out how to add those in. I have quite a bit more playtesting this before it's competitive. What do you think about the Beckon Apparition ?

I think Beckon Apparition could take the place of Alive / Well or Ranger's Guile . It is definitely a way to draw out any removal they may have.. It is harder to deal with a 1/1 flyer than not. Also it is at instant speed. So EOT action is always good.

ragos87 I have a few of those coming, so I will play test them. The Alive / Well have played well recently, but I'll try any suggestions.

Still need to find a way to squeeze some Sundering Growth into the sideboard, maybe 3 at the expense of 1 deliverance, 1 fog, and 1 courage?

@Oddjob9 what do you think about including Savage Summoning . I could bust out a Loxodon Smiter , Fleecemane Lion , or Voice of Resurgence instantly which would buff up any voice tokens and could evolve any Experiment One out. Just a thought.

Oddjob9 says... #16

Loxodon Smiter can't be countered anyways, but it'd be great for Fleecemane Lion , Experiment One would just end up using the token to regenerate, if you found a way to include Archangel of Thune , then it'd be very good for that also.

Oddjob9 Archangel of Thune would mess up my pretty mana distribution :P. Something to consider but as always, what to remove...hmm. I was thinking of the fact that it would allow a creature spell to be cast as flash rather than the can't be countered. The only think I could think to remove would be Call of the Conclave . How many archangels do we have? One?

if you added Archangel of Thune she is an awesome card but is an instant target so i would try Brave the Elements as it protects all white creatures from color of your choice i would also adding a second Trostani, Selesnya's Voice she is great vs aggro and works awesome with thune also Advent of the Wurm is awesome since it fllashes in after board wipes another great card could be Rootborn Defenses giving everything indestructible as well as populate

Namron88 thanks for the ideas. I keep Rootborn Defenses in the sideboard as it's great to use when playing control and a Supreme Verdict comes out. Whenever I bring out Trostani, she always gets killed so I decided to run with only one. Brave the Elements is a good idea since I only run a couple all green creatures. I've been using Gods Willing but that may be a good alternative since it protects more than a single creature. Thanks again and thanks for the upvote!

I suggest adding more lands I would say at least 22-24 and you usually always want to have a turn 1 play Soldier of the Pantheon or Dryad Militant or Elvish Mystic are great options Experiment One is a keeper, love the card.

flashter I love Experiment One . I typically get him out right away. As soon as he is evolved with 2 counters, he's a great option for blocking with his regenerate option. I had Elvish Mystic for a while but had to pull him for the ones. I've been thinking about the Dryad Militant . I still have a bit of playtesting to do. I like Soldier of the Pantheon , but it seems that mono-colored decks are popular at my local FNM shop. In fact, the decks I've been beating are multi-colored. I've been toying with dropping Call of the Conclave for something. What's your thought on that?

flashter says... #23

I recommend that you run 4 Dryad Militant since guild gates are the only option we have right now for mana fixing the militant is nice say if you only have a Plains and a Selesnya Guildgate in your opening hand you will still have a turn one play also if you have a Forest and a Selesnya Guildgate along with an Experiment One and a Dryad Militant you could go turn 1 Experiment One turn 2 guild gate tapped Dryad Militant evolving to swing for two while setting up for turn three. See the thing about the deck is that the curve of creatures is very well balanced and you want to be as aggressive as possible applying pressure with your big cheap awesome creatures. I have been running Selesnya aggro for a while now really do like the way it plays fits my style so to speak.

IMO -4 Gods Willing for +4 Brave the Elements , then to better fit its effect, -2 Call of the Conclave for +2 Soldier of the Pantheon or Dryad Militant , -1 Call of the Conclave for +1 Ajani, Caller of the Pride , and finally -1 Boon Satyr and -1 Trostani, Selesnya's Voice for +2 Rootborn Defenses and hopefully you get all the life you need from your 3 Unflinching Courage . This hurts your midgame a little bit but should add speed and the ability to swing your entire army unblockable with protection against your opponents primary color. Your only green creatures would be Experiment One , because your Boon Satyr 's should be flash bestowed onto something with white in it.

Sideboard 2 more Rootborn Defenses in place of 2 Brave the Elements and your Fade into Antiquity or Glare of Heresy for Unflinching Courage when facing control.

Make that Glare of Heresy for Unflinching Courage vs control and Fade into Antiquity for same against god heavy mono color decks, like black, use Fades on Erebos and his whips and charms on Desecration Demon .
