Sorcery (2)

Commander (1)

Commander: Kozilek, Butcher of Truth

Being that the first EDH deck I created was a 5 color deck, naturally, there was only one color left, none of them.

The goal of the deck is fairly simple; ramp hard and fast, and then play massive creatures to completely decimate the board. If that doesnt work, you can just stall out with indestructable creatures, swaths of tokens, cards like Platinum Angel and Platinum Emperion, or any combination of them!

This deck is in a modern format, but if there is a nifty card from an older set, feel free to suggest it. This deck also does not include infinite combos

Lets take a look at some key cards to this deck.

As for the lands, I wont go into any detail on them, as most are just for utility or novelty. Once again, if im missing a really cool land card, let me know!

Mana Rocks:One of the most crucial parts of this deck, the mana rocks are what get me from early game to late game, with no mid game inbetween. Lets take a look at some of them.

Sol Ring- Its a sol ring, what more could you need?

Thran Dynamo- Basically a cheaper, colorless producer of a Gilded Lotus. Provides some fantastic mana right when you need it.

Doubling Cube- While the Doubling Cube may only start doing its dirty deed once you can get more than 6 mana in your pool, things get very out of hand from there. Not to mention, getting up to 7 mana in this deck isnt too much of a problem.

Next up we have some strong support artifacts. While they may not get you the mana to play your cards, they either help you to find them, to get them out easier, or give you a nice bonus to playing them.

Planar Portal- Search your deck for anything? Over and over? Yes please. Planar Portal is fantastic at its most obvious job of getting the giant crushers you need, but it also does a stellar job of grabbing other support cards to help them out.

Akroma's Memorial- Artifact creatures and eldrazi are useally a little light on keywords. we decided to change that up a bit with Akroma's Memorial here. This bad boy makes even Scarecrone a suprisingly horrifying creature, and the red and black protection is also stellar aswell.

Mirrorworks- You know whats better than one Blightsteel Colossus? Two of them. Mirrorworks adds some grade A value to just about any card you play, and with artifacts like these, it can get out of hand very quickly.

Quicksilver Amulet- Cheat in your creatures, no questions asked. With the high CMC on most of the creatures in this deck, Quicksilver Amulet is sometimes the only way you can get them out in a timely manner.

Prototype Portal- Allows you to pump out usefull artifacts or huge beaters, turn after turn. Whether Prototype Portal is creating an army of Myr Turbines to make another army or Darksteel Juggernaut s to make everyone groan in frustration, its a good friend of ours.

Blinkmoth Urn- Provides incredible ramping and allows for dropping cards freakishly early, but at the cost of speed up my other opponents aswell. Overall, I like this one.

Lastly, we have the bombs. these are the guys that will single handedly knock someone out unless they are dealt with swiftly, and the best part is that some of them are quite difficult to simply deal with.

Blightsteel Colossus- You know him, you love him, the Blightsteel Colossus. Indestructable, cant be milled, and can knock out any opponent in a single blow. It doesn't get much better than this.

Darksteel Colossus- The more honorable of the Colossi, Darksteel Colossus doesn't care that he can't kill you in one hit. He's got time. He'll wait. He doesn't plan on leaving any time soon, and you're going to be in a world of pain until he does.

Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre- Brutally effective, merciless in action and stalwart in his duration, Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre is exactly what he should be; a mindless godless killing machine.

Kozilek, Butcher of Truth- The ringmaster of the colorless circus, Kozy may not be protected from death like his brother Ulamog is, but once he's resolved, he's already done his dark deed of nabbing you some massive draw power. If for some reason he isnt killed instantly, than some poor sap is about to watch his face melt.

And thats about it. If you have any ideas, please let me know. Im sure that there are huge ammounts of strange and powerfull artifacts I've never heard of, so let me know! Thanks for reading!
