Basically, this ability for recursion is similar to Athreos, Shroud-Veiled, Praetor's Counsel, and Tamiyo, the Moon Sage. I would word it like Athreos's ability, when it dies or gets exiled "return it to it's owner's hand." You don't need to say instead. You also don't need to say "if one or more" since it doesn't matter how many times the ability triggers since the result will be the same in the end. "If one or more" is a phrase meant to nerf an ability like The Ur-Dragon so you don't get ridiculous. Also, you can't put opponent's creatures into your hand, so you have to say it goes to it's owner's hand. I would also add that the dryad only triggers off of "other" creatures dying or being exiled. It would be very difficult to remove otherwise if it could eternally recur itself. I think it fits a green-white ability well. Green gets it from the yard, white gets it from exile.

I think "Bolt" beeing sorcery speed is a good thing, you just have to change it to a different ability on dualcaster. Maybe kicker or something.

Jeska, the Inspired is a little underpowered for a mythic. I think you could make her a 5/5, or you could make her a 4/4 and change the first ability to "Spells your opponents control that target artfacts or Artificers you control cost 3 more to cast."
I love Raze, it's a much more balanced Annihilator. However, I don't think it belongs on creatures under CMC 5 or so. A 3 drop that attacks on turn 4 would either hit a land or a creature, and both are way too punishing that early. And that means you automatically 2-for-1 your opponent if they don't find the removal spell before you get to attack.

Just a note Ben, Thrill of Possibility discards the card before drawing. (Additional costs have to be paid to cast the card.)

One question: is your intention with Bolt to change the creature’s etb effect? Or to add an additional etb effect?

If bolt is an alternate casting cost, it would be sorcery speed on most creatures, but could pick up the Flash ability from the creature it was on.

Let’s try to eek out what each color pair will be doing. I’ll fill out what I’m gathering from your current multicolored cards, correct me if I’m wrong.
: Artifact creatures matter
:
:
: Instants/Sorceries/Wizards
:
:
: Dwarves/Equipment
:
:
:
Figuring this out should help with set composition.
Remember that you’re trying to have the uncommon and rare for the color pair be a guideline as to what the color is doing. This doesn’t have to be true for all the color pairs, but it’s best to have that true for as many as possible.

A note: Mythics don’t necessarily have to follow the color pair, and you could make 2 rares for each pair, one following the theme more than the other.

Also, for a goalpost, here’s the amount of cards in each rarity for Modern Masters (which is about average for a set): Common: 101 Uncommon: 60 Rare: 53 Mythic: 15
You don’t have to necessarily follow these guidelines, just thought I’d put them out there.

One note on Caldan and Azeth: it might be a good idea to have different colors of generation have different names. You could probably make them all metals, I’d just advise not having them be the same. It might lead to confusion.

Check the imagecode for azeth, think you missed to rease "enter image title here" from the initial panel text.

saluma - Yep, I'll fix Azeth in a bit. Good idea on switching the dualcaster to kicker!
VampDemigod - I've got a google doc somewhere with the color pairs and what they do, I'm still in the process of figuring it out.

Personally, I think jeska’s effect makes up for not passing the vanilla test, but I could see making her a 4/4.

Is this wording right?
"When ~ enters the battlefield, if it was kicked, copy target instant or sorcery spell twice. You may choose new targets for the copies. Otherwise, copy target instant or sorcery spell you control. You may choose new targets for the copy."

abby315 - what if I just made Void skirter a 5 mana 3/2? Would that balance it out enough? Or a 4 mana 2/1?
October 26, 2020 2:37 p.m.
At 4 mana, you'd need to get rid of its evasion. At 5 mana, I think it can keep flying.

I’d say VS looks like a good, but balanced rare, because of the triple pip. I might be missing something tho.
October 26, 2020 3:58 p.m.
I think this would be right.
Kicker x
When ~ enters the battlefield copy target instant or sorcery spell you control. You may choose new targets for the copy. If ~ was kicked copy target instant or sorcery spell twice instead, you may choose new targets for the copies.

Once again, I don’t think kicker’s necessary. As I understand it, Bolt is an alternate casting cost, in which case, it’s normally sorcery speed, but is instant speed on dualcaster.
(Note: If this is true, I’d advise making sure that instead of saying “if you paid X’s bolt cost”, you say “if you cast X for its bolt cost”.)

Lanzo493, Omniscience_is_life : what do you think of this ability on a selesnya dryad type creature? "If one or more creatures you control would die or be put into exile from the battlefield, return those creatures to your hand instead." I'm not sure it fits the color identity.
