How's this sound for a 7 mana Gruul legend?
"Trample, haste
Whenever an artifact an opponent controls is put into a graveyard from anywhere, Brogg deals 5 damage to that player.
When Brogg enters the battlefield, destroy up to two target artifacts."
5/5

Would this be balanced for a white 2 mana instant?
"Prevent all combat damage that would be dealt this turn.
Metalcraft - If you control 3 or more artifacts, creatures your opponents control don't untap on their controllers' next untap steps."

Vehicle idea:
Each other Vehicle you control gets +1/+1 for each creature that crewed it this turn.
Vehicles you control have first strike and lifelink.
Crew 4 (Tap any number of untapped creatures you control with total power 4 or greater: This permanent becomes an artifact creature until end of turn.)
4/4

1: Brogg looks fun and good! 2: I’d make that spell , + if uncommon or common, but I like it. 3: I like that vehicle, it feels powerful enough to be a rare (or mythic if 4-5 mana). I could also see breaking up those abilities onto multiple cards at lower rarity.

Splitting the vehicle actually isn't a bad idea! I think I'll keep the white spell at 2 mana, white needs more good cards anyway :D

I like the bastions, monstrosity, and cloudskimmer. I do think the monstrosity should cost either or , and the cloudskimmer seems overcosted, for mythic. It could be a rare, or if you want it to be mythic, I’d suggest making it cost or .
I do like the idea of making “crewed by 2 or more” a recurring theme.

Ok I'll trim down the cost on Cloudskimmer and up it on the Monstrosity! Thanks for the help!

I will say, my statement on the monstrosity is referring to its uses in draft. If this was for a constructed-only set, it’d be fine as it was.

What do you think about this on a 2-3 mana common? I might explore a liquimetal-type theme with red/green, to encourage blowing up artifacts.
Target permanent becomes an artifact in addition to its other types until end of turn.
Draw a card.

You can reprint Argent Mutation into the set or make a similar card in R/G. Honestly, I didn’t even know this card existed. Or you can make a similar effect to One with the Stars but where the machines turn a creature into a metal statue or something.

Yeah I think 2-3 mana is a pretty good cost for a common with that effect. Maybe closer to 3 in an artifact-based set.

I just found the best card creation website I've seen yet: Mtg:Nexus
I'll probably just use this rather than MTG.Design, it has so many more options, and custom set symbols too!
