The first build of this deck involved Kemba, Kha Regent as being the first commander. But as this deck evolved and so did our playgroup, it became clear that this commander wasn't what I was looking for. Kemba had to resign, to be never seen again...

For a more resilient approach I chose Eight-and-a-Half-Tails as the new commander. He was already a solid member of the crew, so his promotion was in 'those' days well deserved!

With a lot of equipment and utility support, the aim is to ramp into lots of mana, equip the commander with deadly tricks and deal fatal commander damage to one or more opponent(s).

... then Aether Revolt was shown to the world... and after a good amount of battles I decided it was time for a new Commander to shine in this new era. Eight-and-a-Half-Tails resigned his position and retired from active duty. The manasink for protection measures wasn't effective anymore as the new Voltron tactic sucks up all the available mana.

This made room for a dwarf to step up to the plate and show the battlefield his skills. We present you Sram, Senior Edificer . An efficient carddraw engine from the command zone, which finds enough equipment to deliver deadly blows soon after the first few turns.

Our playgroup decided to stop following all the new sets of WotC and keep playing with all sets we bought until the pandemic broke out.

The last set we decided on being legal for our decks would be Theros Beyond Death.

Please don't suggest newer cards, as they are not going to be added.

I still consider any good card suggestion till Theros Beyond Death.

After a long absence, our playgroup decided to pick up the MtG nights again. Since the start of the global pandemic, we stopped buying cards from the newer sets. Therefor we decided for our playgroup that we allow all cards till 'Theros Beyond Death' set. All cards after this set we will not use, as we do not like the immense powercreep and large flow of sets WotC is releasing these days. We are happy with the cards can can choose from...
