Mono black tribal zombie deck, has lance and swarm mechanics for whichever fits your fancy, play it aggro or attrition , this deck can play out quite a few different ways for any player's taste and play style.
This song I think really fits with this deck due to the beat sounds like marching feet, in this case the marching feet of the ever growing horde of zombies rising from death.
This deck is really all about making a zombie horde as quickly as possible, so it is absolutely critical to either get out Diregraf Colossus or Endless Ranks of the Dead and preferably both of them, so that you get a large number of zombies to play around with, this deck pretty consistently makes about 10 zombies or more by turn 5 depending on the quality of the starting hand and draw, and end the game with by swinging with superior numbers or drawing for the card you need with Cryptbreaker's draw ability or Sidisi, Undead Vizier exploit ability.
Aphotic Wisps can lance through for a beefy zombie to do possibly game ending damage and draws a card easily, Cryptbreaker doesn't really see very much action in the first 5 turns since this deck is meant to be able to end the game in that time by swinging with Gravecrawler-Highborn Ghoul-Relentless Dead and every zombie token, but after turn 5 he really shifts the deck into an attrition styled deck while still being aggro he benefits from the horde to start drawing out a large number of cards mid to late game. This deck also has the possibility to sacrifice 5 creatures for 5 mana and bring out the big baddy Ormendahl, Profane Prince and he really fits in here due to not technically being a creature so he doesn't slow down the deck unless that land comes out early, and the price to bring him into play is easy to pay due to a LOT of things triggering in my benefit if my creatures die such as the ever powerful combo of Grave Pact and Blood Artist and works as a potential game ender. Blood Artist has the best synergy with Grave Pact usually causing a 2 for 1 creature loss and lifegain that tapers off the life loss habits of Cryptbreaker as well as Whip of Erebos. Gravecrawler because he's the best 1 mana drop aggro zombie in magic, second only to the recent Cryptbreaker. Relentless Dead is a good evasive card that works with Lord of the Undead as the resurrection cards, bringing back whatever zombies are killed off early game mid game. Death Baron has fantastic synergy with Grave Pact,Blood Artist and especially Relentless Dead turning his evasion into a powerful threat. Death Baron creates lethal and powerful combo with the other cards. Highborn Ghoul is my personal favorite zombie in this deck because who doesn't like a 2 mana drop that can only be stopped by black creatures and/or artifact creatures.
Update to deck 3/2/2017:
Mind Slash is a recent add in that replaced Sudden Spoiling, in my games with other people, Sudden Spoiling was a very powerful card to play but usually no matter how I tried to slice it, it usually stayed in hand unable to be played due to other things needing to be put out first, however Mind Slash works as a sac card that synergies with the Blood Artist/Grave Pact combo and can take out counters or any other threats in the opponent's hand that might not otherwise be so easy to get around to get rid of if they hit the field and its low cost for this makes it work very well with Cryptbreaker so that the tapped token zombies can become viable sources of control since they can't attack or block. Sidisi, Undead Vizier is a zombie card I've wanted to play and worked pretty well in games when he did come out, a sac card that can be brought back and start bringing in the game enders for the win, whatever you need to end the game, he can bring it out.
Note for those who like the deck but not the deck price:
Really $270 is far too much for a deck, I got this deck for just under $200 so don't take that horrendous price tag too seriously, take out the sideboard and you're good to go, that is only there for serious players and I personally only play casual and never spend more than $200 on any deck. So this is for those casual players who like the deck.
While this deck builds off the horde of token zombies coming out and wrecking everyone's day late game, it is aggressive enough to end the game potentially within the first 5 turns, this doesn't require the best hand possible, but a pretty good one attacking with nearly every zombie every turn as they increase both in numbers and power/toughness.
Amulet of Vigor:
This little handy dandy artifact is really meant to be used if Geralf's Messenger is in play, to both offset his tapped effect and the tapped zombie spawning of Diregraf Colossus which would make the zombies overall faster and more aggressive if you really needed to win the game in a hurry.
Nameless Inversion:
Good 2 mana drop removal and is very hard to fight against, since regen can't save something that simply no longer exists, and it can even hit indestructible creatures if they're small enough and can be brought back with Lord of the Undead to be cast again and again nearly every turn.
Geralf's Messenger:
One of the best frontline fighters that zombies has available, and comes back stronger and can easily be brought back with either Relentless Dead or Lord of the Undead and even his undying triggers Grave Pact so that they are forced to sacrifice a creature for his death, then he comes back just a little stronger and they lose 2 life when his undying triggers.
Foul-Tongue Shriek:
Good for when the horde is in full swing and you want to do massive damage to them if they are otherwise untouchable and much more mana friendly than Gray Merchant of Asphodel and accounts for every creature including tokens, not just nontoken creatures.
Killing Wave:
Good card that works espcially well with Blood Artist and Grave Pact, can be a potential game ender and a good card due to the fact that most of the zombies can be brought back within 1-2 turns.
Metallic Mimic:
the second most likely card to put in after Nameless Inversion because it gives each zombie a +1/+1 counter just for being a zombie and that effect stacks if multiple ones are out so zombies can become very big blockers/attackers even without Coat of Arms.
Vortex of the Undead is named so for very good reason and has many sides to it, Cryptbreaker and Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx are out at the same time, this provides a way to draw a crazy amount of cards very quickly and have the means to pay for most of it within 2-3 turns allowing mid-late (turn 5-end) game to be utterly bonkers, those two together come very close to making it a tron level deck. The second side is whenever Liliana, the Last Hope's ultimate ability goes off and or Endless Ranks of the Dead and Coat of Arms are out at the same time to create expotentially greater amounts of zombies that become exponentially more powerful every turn. This deck truly earns its name with all that it does to make a zombie horde become ridiculously powerful.
