No worries. We drop a 2/4, their deck pretty much stops working anyway.

+1 Protect / Serve A combat trick is a combat trick.
Mutant was tempting but It will not be consistent enough.

+1 Protect / Serve
Deck isn't heavy enough in counters for Mutant's Prey, isn't heavy enough in tokens for Wake the Reflections, and Hidden Strings I don't like because I feel like we might end up cutting blue, or at most using a few blue gates. In either case we'd only run the fuse cards.
We can use Protect, at least.

Yeah, +1 Protect / Serve
I normally like Hidden Strings a good deal, but only when used with lots of evasive creatures.

Toying with the Mending Touch pick but I think a cluestone would be better.

What do you guys think about Azorius Cluestone to help us splash for blue?
The good think about the cluestones is it makes our turn 4 plays much more consistent. We can always sac them later for a card once we no longer need them... always nice in limited.

I don't mind picking either cluestone at this point, but I'm leaning to the Golgari Cluestone so far. It would be nice to discourage someone else from picking up those colors.

@Mpz5: I am tempted by the blue source, especially since we have some pretty useful blue and white cards... but I'm worried we won't stick to getting the fixing we need to have 3 colors with a splash.

We will likely run the away anyway, and the protect isn't bad if we need a combat trick. Seems a shame not to be able to get the full usefulness out of the split cards if it's fairly easily possible. I hope we get some blue gates really.

+1 Golgari Cluestone

Alright from the comments, looks like Golgari Cluestone is the winner.
