Green/Black is always a great combo in booster draft games (aka 'Limited' format), since green gives you quality creatures, and black gives you creature removal. Same kind of idea here...good creatures and good creature removal with some appropriate Planeswalkers (the two Vraskas) leading the charge. It aint rocket science but its pretty effective. The only real 'trick' in the deck is the need to have some sackable creatures to feed to Vraska; here, this is done with Blood Ghast (awesome creature in any deck) and the Eldrazi scions generated each turn by From Beyond. A slight extra little trick is the addition of Dark Prophecy so you can get card draws and a bit of life each time Vraska eats a ghast or a scion. Golgari good times. Note that it is legal to have two types of Vraska in play at the same time on your team, so long as the card names are different...this is due to a recent rules change.
