Duress is a decent substitute for Thoughtseize if you can't afford 4 of them, like me.

I've been tinkering with a Vraska deck as well and I've found that Fleetfeather Sandals work great with her, maybe even better than Rogue's Passage . You can attack with a flying assassin the same turn that you ultimate, they never see it coming!

How has this deck been performing for you? Really interested in Vraska but feel she may be too slow.

I like Golgari Decoy
for this deck, even without Gaze of the Gorgon
. Dangerous
(half of Armed / Dangerous
) also performs the same function in a creatureless package: If you force your opponent to block one of the Assassin tokens with all their creatures, the other 2 can get by unfettered (barring a monstrous Hundred-Handed One
, but that's what Putrefy
or Hero's Downfall
are for). Mogis's Marauder
can be devastating as well, giving your Assassin(s) intimidate and haste. Prowler's Helm
can also be used to make them unblockable (except by Walls, but who plays those anyway?). I really like the idea of giving them haste, so Mogis's Marauder
and/or Fleetfeather Sandals
seem like the best bets to me.

Switch the fogs out for Druids's Deliverance. Populate for Vraska.

What would be able to substitute for the Abrupt Decay and the Hero's Downfall ? For those of us who can't afford to spend this much money. Thanks:)

SuperCasual In current standard with all the enchantment creatures Fade into Antiquity is a great cheap removal for any enchantment creature or even God..... Exile target enchantment for 2, what's not to love? (except maybe the 25 cent price tag) , Putrefy , Dark Betrayal (for black), Ultimate Price (if mono colored).

Bow of Nylea and Golgari Decoy seem to have a lot of synergy good way to clear the board. Looks good on paper but is prolly inconsistent just a suggestion tho :)
