Thanks! Im soo stoked to get it up and running. Hopefully I can get most of what I need at pre-release. Sooo many cool white cards in BNG.

Maybe Banisher Priest is the sideboard to swap in for Archetype of Courage or Eidolon of Countless Battles when you need some board control/removal?

I also suggest maybe splashing black or red for either Xathrid Necromancer or Boros Charm as you have no protection against board wipes like Supreme Verdict or Anger of the Gods .

I like the idea of Banisher Priest might have to take some time to make a place for it soon. Definitely nice to remove some big threats that way.
I do have protection from Anger of the Gods , Brave the Elements does that job. I am still vulnerable to Supreme Verdict though.
As for splashing another colour in, if anything Id consider adding red for the Boros Charm , but to be honest thats unlikely to happen soon, as clearly I have a lot of cards to add still given all the BNG cards Ive added.
Anyhow, thanks for the review.

actually, Brave the Elements dose kind of counter Supreme verdict. You aren't able to counter it with a countering card but you can put down an instant for protection from Supreme Verdict

From what I heard Supreme Verdict manages to get around colour protection, so I would need something like Boros Charm to make everyone indestructible for the turn. Have I been misinformed about colour protection?

I believe so because that's what it has always been at my FNM but that's just us. I would believe it should work because if you chose protection from white, any care white or multicolored with white is included

This Link should provide the answer to how Brave the Elements interacts with various forms of removal. Sadly, board wipes and other non-targeting spells bypass Brave.

Then maybe you can add in a Rootborn Defenses if your against that?

Nice call. Ill have to see how it plays out at the end of this week, but I think that could be a worthy SB card for playing against Golgari decks.

Glad i could help and thanks for the knowledge about Brave

Hey, I mentioned you in my deck Tokens Are Broken. Please check it out and let me know what you think. Play-test mine against yours, I think they are fun matchups. I love Ephara, God of the Polis , I got to play her at pre-release before I had to leave, and i had super crappy white creature cards, and she pulled a win against the person who got second place. Imagine, with actually decent cards, how amazing she is going to be. I think people will be saying she is Broken!!!

Can you explain to me how Brimaz, King of Oreskos is a good card. I easily get enough to kill it in my Selesnya token deck but a 3/4 that pops out a 1/1 that is easily killed (unless protected) it just doesn't seem that good in my eyes.
February 5, 2014 11:58 a.m.
Well he makes tokens all the time, so if you have stuff like Spear of Heliod or Eidolon of Countless Battles or Phalanx Leader the tokens can be a real threat. Especially depending on what type of instants you are running.
Take a note of the specifics of the wording on Brimaz, King of Oreskos . See that it is Whenever Brimaz attacks and Whenever Brimaz blocks. This means that you still have a chance to respond to an opponents blockers or your own action of blocking. So there is opportunity to add fun stuff to the stack.
Not to mention that the tokens have Vigilance. I can see it working in Selesnya with for example Wayfaring Temple .

Thanks for the recommendation, already on the maybeboard.

to tell you the truth, the fact of getting you god as a creature is not that much of a priority because it's ability ramps that up on itself
February 9, 2014 8:35 p.m.
I'd sideboard Spirit of the Labyrinth ; aggro will run right over it

Hmm, probably a good call, Ive been considering that lately as well, really more of a card for when Im facing control or anything with Sphinx's Revelation or other significant draw power.
