That combo don't work with Scion of Vitu-Ghazi as he requires you to cast him from your hand to put out the token and populate. Boon Reflection mite be a good replacement for scion (cause your combo don't work with him) also Enlightened Tutor /Idyllic Tutor /Plea for Guidance all would help with consistency and the plea would get Seance and and another enchantment like say Boon Reflection

After rereading Scion of Vitu-Ghazi it's kind of obvious that it doesn't work with Seance ... oops haha. But both Storm Herd and Boon Reflection are good suggestions along with the tutors. I will look into getting them.

I don't really see what purpose Preeminent Captain serves, since your only other Soldier spell is Mentor of the Meek. Might I suggest replacing it with Sprout Swarm , a Saproling maker with both Convoke and Buyback that no token deck is complete without.

For some reason I always read Preeminent Captain as putting a soldier token onto the battlefield. Oops. Swapping it out for Wayfaring Temple for now.

If you want something that makes Soldier tokens, you'd probably want Precinct Captain . That might be the card you thought Preeminent Captain was, or at least it's probably the effect you'd wanted.

Cannot recommend Rhys the Redeemed enough. 4 (G/W)(G/W): for every token you have, put a copy of it on the field
