Scion decks are fun. Mine has (much) cheaper cards than yours but performs great in almost every game. Just a few thoughts...

Any clone effect on the Scion while it has used its ability to copy another dragon will not revert to a clone of scion (and thus die). 2 mana, pull a non-legendary, Clone it and then you get to keep the copy. I usually use the Progenitor Mimic on Utvara Hellkite .

Rite of Replication , kicked, on the Scourge of Valkas causes a minimum 6 x 5 x 5 (6 dragons on the board, five tokens coming into play times 5 tokens coming into play). Divide that damage any way you want in 6 point increments.

Dragonskull Mountain is my scion deck. Check out the cheap cards and see if you like any. fun deck, +1

It's actually a minimum of 180 damage 6 dragons on the field X 6 scourge of valkus all triggering 5 times for the 5 tokens that ETB I LOVE Splinter Twin in my deck with Intruder Alarm I put out 1000 scourge of valkas at the end of your turn dealing billions of damage. Check out my deck A Dragon by any other name

If your running Scourge of Valkas then consider Rite of Replication kicked it deal 180 damage to multiple targets.

Also, with Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind you need Keen Sense and/or Curiosity to deal about 80 damage and draw 80 cards, then cast Credit Voucher and draw them all again to deal 80 more damage! an't that a kick in the head?

take a look at my deck for more ideas How to train yo-Ur-Dragon

good luck with your deck.

Zer0w Thank you for the suggestions! I have been considering adding Rite of Replication it is a much better spell than Dragonstorm. I just have not seen anyone in my area with one for trade.

It is a good idea to add Keen Sense and/or Curiosity I will just have to ask my play group how they feel about that combo.

Again thank you for the suggestions! I will have to go and check your deck out and see how your Dragon deck will play out.

What do you think of the new Dragons that are coming out in Dragons of Tarkir? Are you going to add any to your Dragon deck?

Nice deck, only complaint from me is that you only have 99 cards in it! (If your commander is in your main board, he gets counted twice) I'm not a huge fan of all the 'enter the battlefield' triggers, but thats why there aren't any in my Scion deck: Stealing the Identity of Dragons.

kodie53 Thanks. for pointing out the problem about the commander being counted twice. I did not know that. This deck is not 100 percent accurate to my actual deck. I am testing a few different cards at the moment. As for the Enter the battlefield triggers they work pretty well in my deck. because i pitch key cards with scion to my graveyard then reanimate them back with various reanimate cards. Take Karrthus, Tyrant of Jund He is great as a surprise i steal your changelings/dragons. Which you can do at instant speed with Makeshift Mannequin. Some Enter the battlefield effects are really powerful.
