What do you think about Trash for Treasure?
Trash for Treasure - 2R
Sorcery
As an additional cost to play Trash for Treasure, sacrifice an artifact. Return target artifact card from your graveyard to play.
Reads like a staple to me to recover Helm.

Great Deck! Include maybe the card Price of Glory? Cheers, Steven

Price of glory unfortunately doesn't stop people keeping mana up. Dorks and Rocks exist. Also, they will tap for mana on your turn, even if they lose the lands, if it means that you'll win otherwise.

Krark Clan can win turn 1 with a hand containing cards such as: KCI, Mana Crypt, Sol Ring, Great Furnace, Mana Vault, Grim Monolith, Lotus Petal, LED (or any 0-1 cost artifacts) Rituals can also be part of this (such as Seething Song). I think you can produce up to 17 mana on turn 1 using KCI with 7 other cards.
Trash For Treasure is a good card, but not quite as good as Daretti IMO.

Hi! What are some targets that come to mind with frenzied fugue?

Fantastic primer! Beautiful layout and easy to digest explanations. Going to be piloting a version of this deck tonight for the first time!

KaloShin If you are concerned about Return to Dust and other exile effects, I would recommend Karn, the Great Creator. I have also used Relic of Progenitus as piece of graveyard interaction as well as a way to recur Helm of the Host if it gets destroyed: activate Karn's -2 ability, hold priority, target yourself with the relic, exile helm, return it to your hand from exile. This is repeatable. The benefits are that both Karn and Relic are both decently powerful (if conditional) stax pieces. If you are playing Price of Power, Karn, the Great Creator becomes even more punishing.

I have been testing competitive Godo a lot recently. Since testing this list out I have been missing my copy spells like Fork. There are few better feelings than that of casting Fork to copy an Ad Nauseam.
Personally, I feel that Dualcaster Mage is a little too versatile to cut. At a minimal impact it's functionally a counterspell that you can tutor for with Imperial Recruiter. The upside is that it incidentally allows you to combo off with Twinflame, even in games where Helm of the Host has been exiled or an opponent has made casting Godo, Bandit Warlord or tutoring impossible.
At least one person was asking about Frenzied Fugue. This card is the truth! The card wins games that feel impossible otherwise. I've gained control of an opponent's Necropotence recently (and won the following turn). It can even bypass potential blockers with indestructible or help you to cast godo through stax pieces such as Aven Mindcensor or Drannith Magistrate.

I love Possibility Storm as a stax piece. However, it is a huge liability against a field of Drannith Magistrate. The interaction just hard-locks all players other than the player with magistrate from casting spells unless there is an on-board ability that can remove either of the two cards.

@Krummy_MTG, Most Drannith Magistrate players run quite a few other creatures as well, so are unlikely to randomly flip into a Drannith with Possibility Storm. Sure, if it happens you lose, but there are some other things that people sometimes flip into that make you lose too. You still are heavily favoured to win if you land a possibility storm and they start casting dorks hoping to flip into Drannith.
You definitely DO NOT want to cast PStorm into a board that includes Drannith, and that can sometimes make it a dead card for a while, but we need to remove the Drannith anyway and have plenty of tools to do so, and can then cast the PStorm afterwards.

Hey there! Thanks for the very good primer! I’ve also listened to the Godo Into the North episode. Anyone reading this that has not listened to that I highly recommend (the specific episode as well as the podcast in general!).
Both here and in that episode I noticed tell of a monored discord. I am very interested in being a part of that! I’d love an invite! :-)
Thanks again for the awesome primer!

I don't think the name of this deck gets quite enough praise. Bravo.

Updated now. We were waiting on a bit of testing and the dust to settle on some of the cards so that we could be a bit more informed on our swaps. Quite a few changes this time.

Can't wait for the deck overhaul. Does someone have an invite for the monored discord mentioned here? I'd love to be a part of it

You float 2 colorless from the Crypt before cracking it, and you can also sac Krark to itself to save yourself from paying extra life into the Ogre
