I feel like Lagonna-Band Trailblazer could definitely have a home here. It's a good, early blocker and with all the auras it wouldn't be tough to make him a powerful late-game attacker.

A couple Obzedat, Ghost Council make it really easy to turn on his devotion for attacks too.

I would suggest putting in Dawnbringer Charioteers I like the format !!!

Herald of Torment is currently better then Feasts, because you don't want your opponents to draw cards, and you can handle the life loss pretty easily.

I feel like a side boarded Elixir of Immortality would help with not only the life gain but for discard, milling and removal decks. So I suggest adding atleast 3x Elixir of Immortality to your sideboard.

This deck is looking pretty damn good and you've obviously already had a LOT of feedback on it. Might I suggest maybe putting in 2x Scholar of Athreos instead of 2 of the Master of the Feast as the master's card advantage drawback can be troublesome and also I find the Scholar a really helpful potential finisher in my Ozhov Constellation/Extort Deck: Dreams that Don't Die

I also agree that you should consider Vizkopa Guildmage over Sanguine Bond and maybe put in Athreos, God of Passage as he just adds that little bit of extra pressure. Just my humble thoughts... great deck though +1 !

Brilliant deck! Beat my bant in progress deck after a while. +1 and you've got a score of 40 now!

Might I suggest Banishing Light ? The deck was pretty weak against the budget MDB deck I'm running, a turn 4 Erebos, God of the Dead kind of cripples the deck. Also, something to counter a Gray Merchant of Asphodel might be needed, but I've no idea of what one might use.

+1 from me, deck seems fun.

Swap the Banishing Light in the sideboard with the Oppressive Rays in the mainboard.

+1 on the deck

The only issue I see it that it has no answers for pure aggro decks such as this.

I really feel like your deck is trying to do too much. I really liked the Master of the Feast - Whip of Erebos with brain maggot idea. Having Sphere of Safety and Sign in Blood in the same deck as Master is probably a bad idea.

You can do the lifegain combo or the enchantment aggro or the sphere of safety pillowfort, but i believe you can't do all of them in a single deck.

Playtested aganist U/W/R Epic Experiment: The only games where you won against me (consistently at that) were whenever you had the Master+Whip combo. Having recursive, hasty 5/5s has a way of destroying a control deck that doesn't run Sphinx's Revelation .

BrutalFear this is assuming your deck goes firstT1 Brain Maggot takes your Madcap Skills T2 Brain Maggot x2 takes your charms or other instants

lets assume you draw 1 creature and 2 land in your opening hand.you play creature plus 1 land. I take 1 enchantment, you now have 5 cards to open t2. You have 1 land and 4 possible options. Lets say you have another madcap and play it, swing for 5. My t2, you have 4 cards, I take 2 cards. What are the chances that you are going to have a card with double strike to allow your t3 win? Also I could chump block with 1 maggot and further stall you to get to a t3 Banishing Light Lets say you get your double strike on t3 and i chump block. you get your card back and have another ramp for t4 but I t3 Banishing Light and reset your board. So far I have taken 5 damage and have 2 maggots on field and you have nothing. I still have 4 cards in hand at the end of t4. you have 1 with no board. Id say thats an answer to your deck.

What do you think you'd take out for Athreos? Because I've got a few I can shove in to see how it works

fluffy_frogurt, I think I would take out 1x Brain Maggot & 1x Nyx-Fleece Ram for the 2x Athreos, God of Passage

June 4, 2014 10:18 p.m.

Okay thanks...that makes sense

June 4, 2014 10:49 p.m.

A12m994, sticking with the life gain aspect of the deck and also for some devotion, I'd say play Obzedat, Ghost Council instead of Athreos, God of Passage . I absolutely love this deck idea and you deserve ALL THE +1s!!!

A12m994 says... #18

fluffy_frogurt, I see where you're coming from with obzedat, but the devotion aspect of the deck is pretty minor, and keeping with enchantments like Athreos is the goal. And besides him being an enchantment, I can get Athreos to a creature pretty quickly with all the devotion already in the deck, plus, he'll discourage my opponent from using kill spells with his ability!

Please for the love of god take out Sanguine Bond.

The Doctor-Why do I need to take out 2 Sanguine Bond ??? It can push the extra damage through...

June 5, 2014 12:41 a.m.

The Doctor says... #21

It doesn't really DO anything. If you haven't killed them by turn 5, or have control of the board state by turn 5, then playing it does absolutely nothing for you.

June 5, 2014 1:17 a.m.

The Doctor says... #22

It's what is called a "Win-More" card, something that simply just takes up space in a deck when there could be something much more useful.

I think keeping the Sanguine Bond s is a good move, let's you keep pinging away, especially once you've got a Gift of Orzhova and an Ethereal Armor on somthing. It synergises well with the deck.

MrEM4N says... #25

Blind Obedience would be great in this decklist and will help ping away with Sanguine Bond since you like that enchant so much.
