This is my current monowhite modern budget deck. I've always liked the Soul Sisters deck, but sadly I do not own a full deck-list for a proper SS Deck, so, while I work on it I'll keep updating this list to see where I am.
I guess I could just mailorder all the cards I need, but where's the fun in that?
I do know most of the ways a Soul Sister deck can look, but if you have some fun idea or angle on the deck, please share! I'd love to hear it, and I much prefer silly decks vs tier 1 decks.
-- Battleplan --
Flood the opponent with small white creatures, buff said creatures with Honor of the Pure and Sword of Feast and Famine // Sword of Light and Shadow.
Lifegain is key, so the Soul Sisters are a welcome sight in any hand, Martyr of Sands help achieve an early health boost, and then there's a lot of 1 gains using the sisters.
Sadly I only have one Serra Ascendant, and a full playset would really help this deck. As with my single
Ranger of Eos
, 1 more of those, and I'm in good shape.
Since I'm kinda easily flooding the board, running out of gas early is an issue, this is where Squadron Hawk comes in. As with
Ranger of Eos
and finally Immortal Servitude to recover form a board wipe.
-- Sideboaring --
Angel's Grace vs. combo decks, like the Summoner's Pact +
Hive Mind
trick or along those lines.
Rest in Peace vs. dredge / delve decks.
Stony Silence vs. activation heavy decks.
Brave the Elements if I just can't seem to get any damage in, why not try the immune route?
Kataki, War's Wage vs affinity decks
Aven Mindcensor - Maybe not very strong as a one off, but could come in handy.
Thalia, Guardian of Thraben - Turn on the hate
Chalice of Life
- If I can get the combo of for healing, but can't swing for some reason, this could be a win con.
