Goals of the Deck:

Step 1: Place mana dork and/or Tax on battlefield.
Step 2: Slowly build up a board while eliminating any immediate threats.
Step 3: Continue to tax the opponent into frustration all while gaining value each turn.
Step 4: Cast commander, targeting dominate/pillfort player, then swinging with army elsewhere.
Step 5: Slide into victory!

PS: That was easy.

I eagerly anticipated testing out how my new deck was going function. It is very much a cast good-stuff and let things fly deck (which the way I prefer to play Magic). Nonetheless, here is a short breakdown of the deck's performance:

The decks played against going clockwise:

Started the game off with the Grixis player casting Teferi's Puzzle Box on turn 2. This moved the hand into a favorable, ramp package casting Serra Ascendant on turn 4 into Traverse the Outlands, searching for 6 basics. After getting a few more favorable draws, I began to build a good board-state and engine with Twilight Prophet, Serra Ascendant, Avacyn, Angel of Hope on the board. Unfortunately, with the presence of 6 total players and my Zacama, Primal Calamity and Aura Shards getting countered, it put me back too much. The Grixis player end up Mind Funeraling me, and the Karn player exiled the Avacyn with Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger. In the end, it preformed better than expected. I'm hoping with the new additions and more balanced mana base, things will run better.
