nice combos +1!

I made a control deck very similar, but based more on Seth Manfield (whitout black): jeskai control(post rotation)

please take a look!

I feel like your deck is trying to do too many things, which is why i disagree with 5CC in the current format. You could achieve the same result by just going UWR or another 3-color combination, while easing up the mana (i gotta say urborg does wonders there though, i could cast bile blight off of temple of epiphany + temple of enlightenment thanks to it).

Keep in mind Narset comes down turn 6 and Goblin Rabblemaster decks are almost certain to be a thing.

Also, gotta keep in mind: Polymorphist's Jest changes creature type, but not name. So the blight + jest combo doesn't work. learned it the hard way.

I don't see the point in the veil. With only five walkers in total, there surely will be times when casting it would be a detriment rather than a boon. I'd suggest replacing it (and the copy of Divination ) with 2 Treasure Cruise. Simply better card draw than Div if cast from exile and, with the potential of +4 cards a turn hitting the graveyard each turn, it's easily hard-cast. Also it is far more flexible, and often less mana hungry, than Veil in addition to the above.

Thank you for your suggestions chain veil was a throw in that was kinda just forgotten about the morei PLAYTEST the more I don't think card draw is the direction I would go so I'll be taking out divination and the likes in favor of perhaps lifegain or creature buff.

Fair dues about the card draw, but please don't run meditation puzzle! This deck has potential to be really fun and effective, puzzle is one of the worst cards in standard! Maybe some more tokens in the form of Triplicate Spirits if you want effective lifegain from your charm.

Not nearly enough lands.

Absolutely no reason to go 5 color. Feral Invocation and In Garruk's Wake are terrible cards, no reason to murder your manabase to play bad cards. Bile Blight and Liliana Vess do not warrant black either.

You play a virtually creatureless deck, Ajani Steadfast does nothing for you.

You need removal and board wipes or you will lose against every aggressive deck.

Aside from Elspeth, Sun's Champion you have no actual cards that will take over games.

It seems kinda crazy to run 5 colors without Sylvan Caryatid... and actually, Courser of Kruphix would give you visibility for your Narset, Enlightened Master as well as the ability to play extra lands to get your colors. Green may be a better backbone than blue.

November 11, 2014 5:29 p.m.

WARPOPE says... #13

Caryatid will be in the side for burn and removal heavy matches but I'm mainly interested in getting narset out and swinging asap and peel off a combo set up by taigam's scheming most of which are wincons if achieved of course. I do see how a superfriends backbone would fit but that's ultimately a different play style than I'm interested in achieving. Thank you for your input sire.

Where's the Dig Through Time?

November 11, 2014 8:18 p.m.

WARPOPE says... #15

Dig through time is amazing but I'm not too interested in drawing cards or the bottom of the library in this build taigam's scheming sets me up with what I need. Thank you though for taking the time and consideration to suggest it though.

+1 for you hitching on your balls extra tight and going for the five-color awesomeness. I like the build. Tell us how it plays in competitive? :)

If running exile spell madness....

No Sarkhan? (Ok... I can see why not..... Garruk, Apex Predator however....)

But here's one....... Worst Fears... Replace Garruk's Wake with the ultimate in screw you.....

Especially if Howl of the Horde has been played....

Shrapnel Blast + Ugin's Nexus , ain't half bad either

WARPOPE says... #18

added your suggestions Necrotech I had both in at one point or another but had drawn them so often in goldfishing they are both big cold fish when you see them opening hand. I think they'll prefore a bit better in this newest version of the deck than you for your suggestions time and support!

do you mean 9 3/3's for the Feral Incarnation Howl of the Horde combo?

WARPOPE says... #20

Indeed I did mean 9

December 2, 2014 8:48 p.m.

Maltanis says... #21

So you know, if you cast Howl of the Horde into Howl of the Horde into Feral Incarnation you will get 21 beast tokens all together. :)

Necrotech says... #23

snicker

Howl of the Horde + Stain the Mind (Oh my my, Oh hell yes!)

First prowl through.... Pick an impact spell your opponent has.... Make note of what ELSE is in the deck, hand, graveyard....

Then pick through for the next threat set....... Make note again.....

Do it all one more time.

Chances are you will destroy whatever win cons they have... stripping the best 6 - 12 plays they have..... AND giving you full deck/hand intel (hell, write the whole list down of what's left if you want, you are entitled to do so)

December 3, 2014 3:22 p.m.

WARPOPE says... #24

Necrotech hilarious thank you so much for that can't believe I overlooked stain the mind. I added some of your recommendations as they can all go to hilarious levels with chandras ultimate.

This is the most inconsistant 70 score deck on tappedout. I mean if you are new to magic and are looking for a build to spend your money on and wanna win FNMs you could come here notice this high scoring deck, build it and be really disappointed at how often this deck can't do more than burn some stuff then cast some unsupported planeswalkers and die. Its a high cost mish mash that hopes on howl of the horde or narset to win the day but cant trigger raid without a creature and cant always find 1 of 3 narset. This deck is kitchen table sorry.
