Currently building the list, as I have a fondness for the combat step (despite being a reanimator player).

Curious about your thoughts on Tale's End ? Counters all commanders, as well as a cheap answer to a lot of powerful effects, namely stuff like ETBs. I currently have a 99 with both Grand Abolisher and Shusher, and I was thinking of cutting abolisher for the tales end, as I do like the GSZ package.

Could be a decent meta call in some contexts. I'd probably pick it over other Stifle-type effects if I was looking to run one.

It's cumulative damage

It's cumulative damage--not the damage from that combat step.

Ex:

Turn 1 - dual + crypt + mox + utopia + Najeela

Turn 2 - another dual (complete five colors) + nature's Will + Najeela attack

Hello all, new to cedh, long time casual. So najeela puts your opponents on a six turn clock, so I was just wondering what your thoughts were on trying to speed this clock up as a plan B/Plan A until you combo? Thinking impact tremours and goblin bombardment or parallel lives/anointed procession?

Six turn??? she can endgame at turn 2 hahaha. This list can consistently win around turn 2-5, not even touch the sixth

The six turn clock I meant for combat if you get disrupted, or in a heavy control meta, is it worth running cards that will speed up the combat damage in a different way to just comboing? On a related note, are they worth running in a budget version?

PortgasDJake1 Your backup win condition is the consultation+JWoM line. The cards you suggested are just too slow for the average game of cedh. 4 mana sorcery speed cards that don't do a single thing on their own are dead draws. In a game where your opponents are actively trying to win at every possible turn you really will be wishing that anointed procession was a one mana interaction piece.

What changes would you make in order to include the GSZ package?

Two cards I have been seriously considering in my list are:

Force of Vigor : Can deal with a lot of hate cards, or slow opponents down.

Reconnaissance : to avoid tricks

Any thoughts? I’m more keen on FoV.

Awesome list! It inspired my own list (due to not have all the cards)!! Would like to ask for some info in how to play against King Kenrith many combos and if any card of Throne of Eldraine is may enter on the list, like Arcane Signet ?

How would you change the deck vs Flash Hulk? I want to add Priest, Linvala, and Cage, but I'm not sure what to cut.

Hi I liked this deck very much and i'm going to build it. But i have a problem. In my local combos are allowed only when all the table made at least 5 turnes. So, i can start my combo only with turn 6 Pls, can you give me a piece of advice because i really want to play this deck. I afraid it could be not so effective. Should i add some combat wincons or cards like purphoros? Or i should wait a moment to successfully start my combo?

Weak_Player deck is great for that situation too. That extra turn will let you cast Najeela or a combo piece with counter backup. I will say, my deck is a little different. I play Gemstone Cavern over Mox Diamond. I used to experiment a lot with Derevi, so I also play a few more creatures, including some odd ones, like Snapcaster Mage, Rootwater Thief, Containment Priest, Orochi Leafcaller, Copperhorn scout, and Nimble Obstructionist. Most of those are meta calls. My cuts are most of the cantrips.

Weak_Player this is a mid-range deck designed to go off on turn 5, so really shouldn't affect your meta. Just get your win-cons out and protect them if you need to, it should still work well.

Oh man, yesterday I played this deck (only swapped Imperial Seal for Green Sun's Zenith) and I won in third round ... really crazy. :-)

Good job with the deckbuilding!

I understand oakhame adversary is a high value card to play for what it costs, typically 2. When it's the only warrior in the entire list minus maybeboard, I'm sure you'd find more use out of a Raiders' Spoils instead?

Not only does it grant more power, but the value in draw is much more significant than even the exponential growth one additional early warrior can give. It's one of the best bombs to chuck out when you're going for a tribal win, and it's never a dead card unless you're about to die anyways.
