I don't really follow your train of thought. What does the low amount of maindeck warriors (you left out Mindblade Render ) have to do with Oakhame Adversary?

More importantly, you kind of answered your own question: the fact that Adversary basically always costs 2 mana to cast is the big reason why it's so nuts. It's essentially another copy of Dark Confidant but with added upside. Efficiency is king. While I have strongly considered Raiders' Spoils , four mana at sorcery speed is kind of a turn off.

Good evening, If i missed it my apologies. I am wondering what the best budget replacement for the imperial seal would be? I say one person talking about green sun. I play Sick Robots T&T shuffle hulk currently and this deck looks fun and shares man of the same cards so I wanted to give it a try. Imperial seal is just a lot outside my price range. Thanks for the input!

Green Sun's Zenith is a fine replacement but in truth you can swap in almost any of the cards in the Maybeboard/Sideboard. Losing one tutor is not that big of a deal--just run the next best card for your meta.

I don't like Sword of Feast/Famine. It's only a single trigger, so it doesn't go infinite unless you have perfect lands (or lands w/ enchantments). I'm trying to win before then.

So you say that LabMan is not worth playing because of the missing cantrips. What about Thassa's Oracle then?

Oh well you already put that card in your deck :D Sorry I didn't see it before.

Can someone explain the Thessa’s oracle combo? I’m missing something or not reading something correctly and can’t figure out the trigger verses board state of Jace and Labman

Baboomski Gotcha Fam, Cast Demonic Consultation naming a card that is NOT in your deck to Mill yourself out, then cast Thassa's Oracle, Win Game.

Even if someone counters Thassa you still win because of her ETB effect. Now if they cast Trickbind then you basically lose the game, lol.

Pongo_Pygmaeu5 I do hope you plan on running Trickbind in the deck!

Would you consider joining the dark side and running Hulk itself? But instead of breakfast or other usual combos run Spellseeker for Tainted Pact

Hi. I have been playing with this deck since my last comment. I am trying to be as close as possible to primer, just adding several meta-cards. I have a question. Why not to play some rocks instead of locking them and why not to play Yawgmoth will instead of RiP?

Hi, I love najeela and was thinking about making her as a cedh deck - have you considered faeburrow elder as another combo piece? It having vigilance means you can attack with it and use najeela's ability in combat, it's obviously not as good as derevi/nature's will but could it be worth it as a worse bloom tender that can win you the game?

Something gets blown up you can now bring it back for 1 mana or 2 life, it's an amazing card.

is there a reason why this isn't running Force of Negation? what would you cut for it? thanks, this is an amazing deck

pitan77

The deck is not primarily a control deck and isn't really looking to play purely defensive countermagic. We vastly prefer interaction that can be used defensively as well as offensively to protect win attempts.

Pongo_Pygmaeu5, would you recommend using the deck vs the Oracle Queen you created?

February 24, 2020 8:08 p.m.

pitan77 says... #25

heavyuser uhh nope, if someone counters Thassa's Oracle her etb doesn't trigger and you're most likely dead
