Ride Down , Deflecting Palm , Thoughtseize , Mardu Ascendancy , Lightning Strike , Searing Blood , Erase and Shatter . I'd consider main boarding Mardu Ascendancy and Thoughtseize . The rest are side board suggestions mainly.

Thanks for the suggestions Jonathannoob! I don't think I can afford to spend the money on Thoughtseize as they are 20$ a piece, but some of the others definitely can be side boarded such as Erase , Ride Down , and Deflecting Palm .

No problem, I Mardu myself. Yeah, Thoughtseize is slightly overrated too imo, meaning it shouldn't be that much. They should have reprinted Duress as well.

I think you should take out 1 swamp and put 1 Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth

This deck here is an aggro deck, as a result cards like Dispise In game one before side boarding are bad because they slow you down and in game one you need to be as fast as possible to punish them for not being tuned vs aggro. I would replace them with either Lightning Strike Stoke the Flames or Titan's Strength .

Thanks TheHitAndKil! Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth would definitely be a helpful card.

Thanks for the suggestions, Hurmph! I think Titan's Strength could work really well with multiple cards in the deck. The scry ability is great as well to get unnecessary cards off the top of the deck. I found Despise to be pretty helpful to see what my opponents had in their hand for removal as well as to get rid of planeswalkers/blockers. I do agree that it can slow the deck though. I could sideboard Despise until I know what my opponent is running and mainboard them if needed.

You want to play 4 of a card called Seeker of the Way synergizing well with all the instants and things.

I like this build. +1

Thoughtseize > Despise, but if you're working with what you have, Despise is good, Plus it won't rotate out next year like Thoughtseize will.

Revoke Existence seems like it is too slow as a sorcery. Maybe try Erase instead? Depends on if you see a lot of artifacts in your local meta, but overall it's a nice sideboard card.

Utter End is a good option to consider as is Hero's Downfall. Murderous Cut wouldn't be bad if you don't have any Downfall.

Thanks for the upvote and suggestions, cletus008!

I'll have to playtest more to see if I should keep Revoke Existence or swap it out. I do agree that it is pretty slow for a deck that is meant to be aggro. I originally included it for its flexibility, but have yet to use it in a match.

Thoughtseize is a bit out of my price range, and I have not come across anyone willing to trade any. Would definitely be a helpful card nonetheless.

I recently acquired a full playset of Utter End, but probably wouldn't play the whole set in the deck. I think I could put it in the sideboard. Maybe swap three in for Bile Blight?

November 11, 2014 5:26 p.m.

Keep Bile Blight in the sideboard. Swap in 3x Utter End for 3x Revoke Existence. It has more targets. Bile Blight is great against decks that run playsets of everything or tokens.

Thanks for the suggestion, UpperDeckerTaco! I swapped the Revoke Existence out for Utter End.

What if you took out something, I'm not sure what but if you could find 2 things to take out and you insert Purphoros, God of the Forge I feel like with Rabblemaster, the ascendancy and the champion, that it'd work well.

I really like that deck. The only improvements I can think of right now would be taking out the Seeker of the Way to include Mardu Strike Leader and Mardu Woe-Reaper or Mardu Shadowspear.

Mardu Strike Leader proves very useful, a bit like Goblin Rabblemaster and will overwhelm your opponent even more. It's a great target for Gods Willing.

And I would probably test this deck with 2 Chief of the Edge and 2 Chief of the Scale, and that way you won't even need to hold back any attackers most of the time, for fear of how your opponent might block them. Over time I've come to like the Chief of the Scale more than its counterpart, since it allows you to attack more often, even if you attack for less damage, you can be more fearless about how you declare attackers, which I believe is what this deck is all about ;)

Good luck, keep posting your results!

Have you considered Alesha, Who Smiles at Death? She can bring back the majority of your creatures and she happens to be a warrior. It gets pretty brutal when you're bringing rabblemaster back from the grave.

Thanks, G0lden! I added two to the deck.

Have you considered Sabertooth Outrider? Could be a good combo with an instant Titan's Strength to trigger ferocious almost by itself and trample and first strike. Also a warrior, so has some synergy.

Could also look into a couple Secure the Wastes for token generation.

Cameron2394 says... #24

Thanks for the suggestions, AisforAmity! Sabertooth Outrider seems like a pretty cool card and its ferocious abililty probably would trigger, but I feel like it would die to easily to cheap removal when I could spend the 4 mana on a butcher. I really like Secure the Wastes, and I have been thinking about sideboarding it.

You could add Brutal Hordechief, who deals damage directly to opponents whenever creatures attack, and could match up the blockers so that all of the opponent's creatures block one 1/1 Goblin. Great Deck!
