I use to run a deck very similar to this. Some suggestions...Athreos, God of Passage Cavalry Pegasus & Tormented Hero.I would also throw another Obelisk of Urd in there. It worked well for me when I played it.

I didn't think about Athreos, God of Passage, that's a great idea. Even if he doesn't "turn on" the enchantment part would be brutal. I thought about Cavalry Pegasus as well cause getting buffed Warriors flying would be pretty tough to deal with. What would you take out? I'm thinking Disowned Ancestor and Raiders' Spoils are definitely on the bubble. Still think there might be a place for Rush of Battle as well but Sorin's +1 is almost the same thing, maybe it's better to just run an Athreos instead.

These decks really benefit from some sort of card draw. Raiders' Spoils is good if you can get your dudes through but maybe something like Read the Bones or Sign in Blood would be good too. Plus they would trigger your Seekers.

Sideboard plays: Glare of Heresy, Erase, Banishing Light...

Made a couple edits based on feedback from 09vbumm and IAmKingTony (Thanks dudes!). Added Athreos, God of Passage, and a Sign in Blood, but might add another if it seems to need more draw, possibly swapping out the last Raiders' Spoils.

Another card to consider could possible be Erebos, God of the Dead. Gives you card draw if at a bad rate but also shuts down the life gain from cards like Siege Rhino, Wingmate Roc, Sorin, Courser, Seeker Of The Way (theirs not yours!), etc.

Could be a sideboard option.

I would take out Utter End and side Suspension Field. That 4 drop you want Sorin, Solemn Visitor. Read the Bones is a def 4 of but take out Thoughtsieze so you don't kill yourself.

Also, Chief of the Scale can probably be replaced with Tormented Hero or Sightless Brawler. You want to be super quick so pumping toughness doesn't really matter.

Love the deck, human and warrior tribal.. great concept. +1 vote.

You may want to consider Molting Snakeskin as a cheap +2 permanent buff.

Added Cavalry Pegasus and Molting Snakeskin (thanks doriboncore) to the maybeboard. The pegasus would give all my humans flying, which seems like it's be tough to deal with. The snakeskin would be primarily to buff the pegasus and give him regen so my dudes can always fly. I can't help but think there might a better way to keep the Pegasus on the field?

Have you thought about putting in an Obelisk of Urd or two? it could easily be dropped turn 3 and pose heavier threats out of nowhere.

I would either drop a Hero's Downfall, or a Mardu Woe-Reaper. Personally, I'd probably drop the downfall mainly because reaper can help a bit against delve decks while keeping your fast aggro. You shouldn't need a lot of removal with athreos/urd seeing as athreos kills them faster or brings yout creatutrs back and urd makes your creatures huge. Especially with multiples on the board and Sorin it's pretty much over by then even if they wipe the board due to athreos.

I dig it man, I personally like Read the Bones over Sign in Blood; paying 11B over BB to Scry 2 before drawing those two cards could make all the difference! Cavalry Pegasus would also be advantageous, at least on the bench to deal with flight heavy matches. It puts everything here but Athreos and the tokens up in the air when they swing

IdTapAnything You're definitely right about Read the Bones in terms of pure card draw, an extra colorless to scry 2 is definitely worth it. But I have Sign in Blood in simply as a burn if needed. If my opponent is sitting at 2 or 1 life, I target him with Sign in Blood, game over. It doesn't happen often, but when it does, it's sweet.

Add thought seize so you can just take out things that can really hurt you in there hand

Really like the Calvert Pegasus I feel it will catch a lot of people off guard in tournaments

How do you feel about Diplomacy of the Wastes. I rock in my B/W Warriors. Gets you that burn as well you were talking about.

im playing a similar deck myself, Call of the Warriors!, like using the green in it. Warden of the First Tree first turn is a lot to deal with, specially if Arashin Foremost comes out third turn. also like Collected Company tho I may be losing out on aggressiveness due to dual lands coming in tapped.

THIS DECK LOOKS GREAT... the only value is in the foils, could probably put this together for 50 or so bucks.

Sp1derfang For sure, it's basically a budget deck except for maybe Sorin. And it's not like that's the intent, it just is. I think I like it even more post-rotation. Thanks for the comment!

yeah, I have been out of the game for a while so lookin for cheap decks that can put me back into things... I am thinking maybe this one and/or a few others but great idea.

sorry to leave so many comments but I really like this deck.... but anything you could recommend to replace sorin? I own 1... maybe utter end? harsh sustenance?
