Dear sweet jesus. Aether Revolt is a boatload of bullshit. Only time will tell, but hopefully this deck will be able to hold on with the excellent control options we have. Just as a side note, Jace only gets to stay because not everyone at my shop is a net-decking sheep, so I will probably still occasionally have a chance to play him. Gideon was also just to slow to stay. Our best 3...2...1..GO! Game leaves us winning on turn 5, but when Aether Bullshit comes out, all our opponents will be winning on turn 4 every single game (our turn 3 if we're on the draw). This leaves us playing control until turn 4, instead of doing what we want (casting gideon). Probably the most interesting (new) interaction is between Thalia, Heretic Cathar and the new splinter twin combo. On play or draw she just shuts down that deck. If the splinter twin deck gets really popular, I'll definitely add 1-2 more of her in the sideboard. Anyway time will tell. I haven't lost with this deck yet (barring the usual no land drop games) and I hope to continue my streak until Eldrich Moon and SOI rotate out. Cheers.
