I wanted to make a Chromium, the Mutable deck that was different than just a Zur the Enchanter deck with a worse commander. My philosophy is to make weaker decks more appealing to players rather than taking already proven to be quite strong decks such as Zur the Enchanter and make them worse. So of course I thumbed through the list of esper commanders and saw Dakkon Blackblade, KILLER OF ELDER DRAGONS. Through countless hours of annoying my girlfriend I finally brewed this decklist.

Being an Esper commander means he has access to the best tutor effects in magic which is great for finding Blackblade Reforged and any other goodies you might want to have. I will be refining this deck over time, so any feedback would be much appreciated!

Omniscience is a very useful card in this deck because it counters Cyclonic Rift. The most devastating thing that could happen to any voltron deck is the tempo loss of being board wiped and you lose all your creatures, even more so if you lose all your nonland permanents. Since Cyclonic Rift is probably the second most played card in commander (first being Sol Ring) this is a great answer as well as give you the tools to end the game.

You want to play for the long game, generating value with enchantments like Rhystic Study, Land Tax, Phyrexian Arena. Tutors do tutor things and swords do sword things. Control the flow of the game while slowly smashing peoples face in with a dragon disguised as a human wielding 5 swords, 2 different sets of shoes, a quiet towel from Harry Potter, and really fashionable armor that probably wont eat a removal spell.
