This deck was built in mind with a need for speed. Enchantments and lifelink are the decks main driving force. Early on I want to play a Hopeful Eidolon , turn one is best. And then by turn two, if fate is on my side, I will hold two Ethereal Armor, which gives me a 7/7, first strike, and lifelink attacker by turn two!!! By turn 3 if I have Gift of Orzhova then I'll have a 9/9, flying, first srtike, and lifelink creature. At this point if my champion hasn't been removed then its gonna be a deathblow on turn 4 for my opponent. While that is the deck's main strategy from the get go, I built in features for extended play and for quick recovery from counter and return spells. Agent of the Fates and High Priest of Penance are a control feature to prevent my opponent from knocking at the door with an army. This is just incase I don't have the right cards in hand from the start and a mulligan isn't helping. I added a few later turn creatues to champion, these are Baleful Eidolon , Tithe Drinker , and Fiendslayer Paladin. These guys start off a little better than the Hopeful Eidolon , but they take an extra turn to start playing. Fiendslayer Paladin is the better of them all as he comes into play invulnerable to most instant kill spells out there, however waiting til turn three is just too slow to make him a primary champion and he's more of an in-your-face later game card that's sure to anger the masses. A few noteworthy cards I added in the deck are self explanitory for the most part. Erebos, God of the Dead is another enchantment buff for Ethereal Armor and adds the benifit of anti-life gain which aids the agrro of the deck if it goes into later game play. As a bonus he can become an indestructable creature for a better kill stroke. Gift of Immortality and Dark Favor are extra enchantments just that add to the deck's need for enchantments, and having such cheap and powerful enchantments can wreak havok across the board. Now the last card is a very important one that is multi-purpose... Brave the Elements !!! this card is a major stonewaller for removal spells and for making my champion unblockable! So this last tiny card is a foundation for early, mid, and later game play.Any thoughts and suggestions are welcome and I look forward to any critique this deck recieves as I'm planning on running this for FNM.
