A pretty solid Exalted deck, using Spirit Mantle , Aven Squire , and sometimes even Knight of Infamy and Knight of Glory to dodge creatures, or Vorrac Battlehorns to trample headlong through a single creature, either way delivering massive damage.

Ardent Plea is fun, generally resulting in two buffs on the same turn. The only snag is that Ardent Plea will sometimes shred through cards such as Oblivion Ring and Nefarox, Overlord of Grixis , or even another Ardent Plea , but as of right now, I find it to be a very cool card; two spells for the price of one is something that should never be frowned upon.

Right now, I'm considering Rancor for this deck as well; four colors might be asking for trouble, but it could be a very tasty sub for Vorrac Battlehorns . I suppose I'll just have to play and see. I also kinda miss Guardians of Akrasa in this deck, mainly because most of my creatures do a whole lot of sitting around most of the time, and Guardians of Akrasa is an absolutely fabulous blocker.

As of right now, it needs a bit of repair to turn it into the death machine that it can definitely be. W/B/G exalted is definitely starting to be tempting, but I think that would take this deck far beyond what it was designed to be: fast and brutal. But, all good things in time.

After playtesting, it's quite clear that my creature count is far too low. I'm currently considering simple cards such as Ethercaste Knight and Akrasan Squire, cards with more practical purposes such as Frontline Sage for draw power, or some fun bigger drops such as Sovereigns of Lost Alara or Battlegrace Angel. The problem I'm running into is making sure that most spells are still fodder for Ardent Plea. Frontline Sage is beginning to look mighty tasty for this deck however, as the draw power + exalted could prove to be very handy.

I dunno. Only playtesting will tell.
