Sideboard

Creature (1)

Tazri, a Primal Surge, and a Zirda, the Dawnwaker walk into a bar...

This is an activated abilities tribal (Typal? Kindred?) deck. The deck's gameplan is defined by these simple steps:

  1. Play creatures with activated abilities

  2. Generate card advatage with Tazri, Stalwart Survivor's ability

  3. Using Tazri's passive ability, generate the mana needed to pull ahead with activated abilities

  4. Win with either

a) A powerful board presence,

b) A convoluted infinite mana combo (Kinnan, Bonder Prodigy/Leyline of Abundance + Freed from the Real + Tazri, Stalwart Survivor/Any mana dork, Experiment Kraj/Agatha's Soul Cauldron + Faeburrow Elder/Bloom Tender + Ethersworn Adjudicator, or anything involving Najeela, the Blade-Blossom) and an infinite mana outlet, or

c) Primal Surge, which manages both to win the game with option b and Jace, Wielder of Mysteries.

Despite the redundant combo pieces, this is actually a fairly casual deck. Running Primal Surge limits ramp options, the infinite combos can be interacted with easily, and Primal Surge is 10 mana wasted with a counterspell. All this is to say, the deck plays the way I want it to and wins in a hail of jank.
