Force your opponent to play "you lose the game" cards that they cannot meet the conditions of through Hive Mind through the different colored "Pact"s

Gameplan

The pacts that you include depend on the opponent. You want to focus on colors that the opponent cannot cast as the first priority since they are your wincon. Choosing pacts to counter your opponent's gameplan is important but much less so.

Pacts

Pact of Negation and Intervention Pact are automatic 4 of since we can almost always pass the instant lose condition ourselves. They also allow you to stall until you can find hivemind if necessary.

Slaughter Pact is included in the mainboard since it will mostly be a onesided effect even if it is copied by the opponent, and we can meet the mana requirement through Pentad Prism.

Pact of the Titan and Summoner's Pact are not as useful in game 1. They should be swapped in based on the opponent's color identity.

Hivemind

Everything else in the deck is focused on turbo-ing out Hive Mind or stalling until it can hit the board. With the transmute ability of Ethereal Usher you can directly search for Hivemind. To get mana for hivemind, Pentad Prism and Lotus Bloom give you mana to cast hivemind as soon as you get it as well as letting you meet your own pact payments if necessary.
