Nin is the commander because it allows for battlefield control. I generally don't pull Nin out when she is going to get prohibitively expensive until I'm able to cover her, either with counters of some kind (ability cancels included), or by throwing the cloak on her. Ideally, you can also throw in a Swiftfoot Boots or Lightning Greaves as well, but I haven't playtested with it fully on there yet.

If you want to draw cards, use Nin to blast the life out of the Indestructible artifacts, Stuffy Doll - which lets you draw while damaging your opponent - or Darksteel Myr which lets you draw cards but not lose a creature.

I included the Crimson Mage in here so that I can give my 5/5 dragons haste. The purpose of the Stolen Identity is so that I can copy the Dragonmaster Outcast or the Elite Arcanist and exile Lightning Bolt or Fuel for the Cause for further battlefield control.

If you are able to get Dack Fayden's emblem off, feel free to Elite Arcanist exile Downpour and go to town taking the creatures, or Arc Lightning everything that the opponent has and take control of all of their creatures permanently.

Tamiyo, the Moon Sage is in here for her ultimate, but with all of the proliferating you will be doing it won't be a problem to keep her around.

If you want to be a giant pain, feel free to Ultimate Tibalt, the Fiend-Blooded and take control of all opponents creatures, sacrifice them through Ashnod's Altar and use all of that extra mana that you get to blast Stuffy Doll killing an opponent.It is a blast to play.
