Grave Danger —Aug. 21, 2015

-1 Damnation
+1 Grave Pact

I was given the idea of running Grave Pact a little while ago and the idea intrigued me. The sac outlets are there in this deck and once I get a Sliver engine going I can easily make opponents sac all their creatures. Damnation is great, but do I want to destroy all my Slivers? I feel as if that helps my opponents more than it helps me. I suppose I can make my Slivers indestructible and clear the field with Damnation, but there are plenty of other ways I can deal with opposing creatures besides destroying them and Grave Pact gives me another way to add to that.

Here are a few good cards that I have in my sliver deck Amoeboid Changeling for turning your opponents creatures into slivers to steal and it is a sliver. Mutavault it is a land and it is a sliver whats not to like, Mirror Entity it is a win con and also a sliver, finally Cover of Darkness hey another way to make all slivers (almost) unblockable :D those are some of my suggestions

oblivion234: Great suggestions! These are staples in any Sliver edh :D I used to run Amoeboid Changeling and swapped him out for Unnatural Selection - it costs 1, but I can use it on demand and it's a little harder to get rid of being an enchantment. I also used to run Mirror Entity, but after people realized he's a win-con, he got hated instantly. The land base for Slivers is so tricky, and I think I have the right balance right now for the cards I want in the deck, so I'd have to remove a spell to add another land :\ I can get the same effect from Shifting Sliver or even tap down blockers with Telekinetic Sliver :)
