Modern day exalted deck. I like exalted. I wanted to exalt an exalted deck beyond exaltation--to the point of great exaltations. It can exalt Akrasan Squire to attack for 4/4 by turn 2: turn 1-- Plains , Akrasan Squire ; turn 2-- Cathedral of War , and another Akrasan Squire . Attack with +3/+3 for 4 with the first Akrasan Squire . Not bad. But that just gives opponents a taste of the exalting power to follow. Turn 3: Plains , Silverblade Paladin soulbonded onto an Akrasan Squire , attack for 4/4 double strike. Ouch! Now turn 4 exalts the exalting to exalted levels of exaltation-- play a land, then Sublime Archangel ; this beauty exalts the unexalted, like Silverblade Paladin , and gives double exaltation to the Akrasan Squire s. So, why not attack with the exalted, soulbonded +7/+7 Silverblade Paladin for 9 double strike and GG.

Woe, to the impudent opponent with the insolence to resist the exaltation in any way or at any point, and decides to prolong the inevitable! Such impertinent gall will be met with an exacting execution of exalted enforcement that will leave them trampled in the dust. For example: Turn 5-- another Cathedral of War , 2 more Akrasan Squire s and attack with a +12/+12 Silverblade Paladin for 14 and double strike, or a 16/15 Sublime Archangel and flying. If they decide to chump block, just use the remaining 2 mana for a Selesnya Charm to pump up +2/+2 more and trample them down for the win.

If their audacity continues, Battlegrace Angel is there to provide exalted lifelink to help sustain you for battle and get you to your Finest Hour of exaltation--perhaps even receiving an exalting Angelic Benediction .

Anyway, the deck has some potential, but suggestions, comments, and +1s are welcome.
