Sauron_: Well, Gods Willing isn't going to help against a board wipe anyway because a wipe isn't targeting the creature. I'm already running Faith's Shield and Razor Barrier, which are nice because they can protect any of my permanents, rather than just a creature. Ajani's Presence might be useful as a backup plan in case I lose Avacyn. And Urza's Incubator would be great in here. I can often get her out on or even before turn 6 anyway with Extraplanar Lens or Thran Dynamo, but the incubator would basically be a faster, more consistent Herald of War.

slovakattack: Yeah, the only reason I'm not running Champion's Helm yet is because both of my LGS don't have them! I'll replace Whispersilk Cloak with it eventually. If I need to order online, I usually wait until I have a big order ready to save on the shipping.

I'm thinking about Karmic Justice. I like that I can get it out earlier than a Martyr's Bond, though Martyr's Bond is also nice in that the deck can be weak against sacrifice effects, and if someone is playing gravepact then I can counterbalance that a little bit.

Leonin Shikari is bad. It only affects a few cards.

Remember, you -choose- what to destroy with Karmic Justice. The non-creature limitation isn't that bad- you can use it as land destruction. If your opponent drops a Planar Cleansing, you can punish him for it by pulling a faux-armageddon.

The snow-covered lands have been on my list of to-dos since I built the deck. There are just so many other things that have taken priority over it, but yes, there will be snow-covered lands in here eventually.

I actually need to update this big time. I just realized I hadn't since I added Thawing Glaciers and Resolute Archangel.

I find the Resolute to be quite helpful, since Avacyn as your commander is both slow and attracts so much hate, you often need to recover from early aggro.
