Have you considered Hada Freeblade as a 1 drop ally?

From playing my friend's ally deck, Hada Freeblade is one of the best allies. He starts off as a 1/2 and grows from there. He should definitely be a playset.

Also consider upping to a playset of Harabaz Druid . She's just the best mana dork for allies.

In general, I would cut down your 2-of's, and just put in playsets of the best allies. Keep your curve now, take out all the unnecessary 4+ drops, except for Sea Gate Loremaster . He keeps you fueled.

For noncreature spells, I suggest Path to Exile , Vapor Snag , and rootborn defences, to use as combat tricks.

i would take out all 4+ drops, but Turntimber Ranger is a 5 drop and he is my 3rd favorite ally, next to Halimar Excavator and Ondu Cleric

Hada Freeblade is nice, but what about Kazandu Blademaster

i liked him but i chose Turntimber Ranger , he summons lots of wolf tokens which help a lot more than Kazandu Blademaster even with his higher mana cost.

You may want an answer to Torpor Orb , at least in the sideboard.

No Path to Exile and you may stand as one but get burned by all

Path to Exile in place of Divine Verdict.

Naturalize or Nature's Claim in the sideboard, not mainboard.

Path to Exile costs too much for this deck, i have a 20 dollar budget and i want a good deck, it was in here but i took it out when i found it was $7 and where i play almost everyone runs combo decks, no burn.

So path would be good then. Also 7 bucks is high for them can get them way cheaper threw trade or just buying off of eBay.

Path to Exile isn't for versus burn, it is just removal versus every deck. Worth getting.

Honestly, the cheapest deck in modern that is competitive. Like really competitive. Is about 100 dollars.

And that is still really cheap for modern. He'll I know LeaPlath and I play Scapeshift and that can get pricy depending on the build plus foils :)

well, i can get those cards, but i need to win tournaments in my store to get in store credit so i can buy better cards, if i win i can get the cards i need.

Accept that you need to make a starting investment and buy them now. Give yourself a chance in tournies.

Kazandu Blademaster , Talus Paladin should also be in here. I would suggest dropping Lawmaster and Excavator. Maybe add in Umara Raptor .

Painlands/buddy lands would help the land base a lot too.

what is lawmaster, if you mean Sea Gate Loremaster , no, he has kept me from top decking way too many times to be taken out.

He is also 5 mana and you are playing an aggro deck. He is only really worth it in a midrange deck, due to the fact he is slow, takes a turn to come online and doesn't provide any immediate value for his investment.

i've played him turn 3 before, use Hada Freeblade then Harabaz Druid you can get quite a bit out of that combo.

Smells super-similar to my Seles ally deck Stand by Me

I suggest Cloudshift because it both protects your creatures and triggers ETB

Then when you get a Turntimber Ranger out his wolves will also be allies, which will trigger him again....and again...and again...and again....and again....and again...

One thing from my experience playing allies; Harabaz Druid builds are either midrange, control or combo. Your Hada Freeblade s, while attractive beaters, fit better in a RWx build with Kazandu Blademaster s and Kazuul Warlord s as finishers. They don't really contribute to the ramp plan very well...

On the other side of the coin, a 0/1 doesn't contribute to an aggro plan. Yes, he's great for dropping extra allies faster, but you want to think about how he fits in to the overall plan.

Talus Paladin and the Blademaster are good aggro guys to consider, but if you plan to go more midrangey or combo-controlly, I'd consider Ondu Cleric again (that lifegain is sooo nice when stalling) Kabira Evangel (protection from X on demand??? sure) and surprisingly the 4 drop token making instant is pretty damn useful too.

only issue with Kabira Evangel is that there are no allies with flash to quick summon them for an instant shield.

Join the Ranks works wonders, you usually don't want more than 1 or 2 to show up though.

Doubling Chant is a very useful card in any ally deck, as it allows for massive damage. I use it and Halimar Excavator for a potential turn 4 win on mill in my deck Excavator's Tale

I was going to suggest Gifts Ungiven , but that is pricey.

How is this is control? It is at best, combo.

And how does Xenograft help? All your creatures are allies.
