Maybeboard


So when I first built this deck, I tried to hard on the land destruction. It had me play to many dorks, and things to come back from the land destruction if I didn't have my Crucible of Worlds. The deck was quick.. but slow if that makes sense. I'll explain how; I had to many 1-2 drop dorks and 3-4 drop land tutors. Granted, it deck thinned like mad.... it didn't do enough to actually keep my opponents controlled. I also was drawing the dorks when I wanted something else.

I also wasn't really paying attention to my B.Pod curve at all, so badly that I'm still trying to figure out wtf I was thinking lol. I get these ideas and just run with it, and do the aftermath later. I love brewing, but I forget the most essential part of brewing.... why am I brewing the deck for. Any deck can work, if you fine tune it to that purpose, ooh and it gave me so many lands out quick. Problem is, I didn't get my big threats out fast enough, I didn't get my control aspects out quick enough, etc.

That is all in the past, and I'm working on it again. Thanks for everyone and all your suggestions, and help, and +1's. I'm now in the process of making this deck fine tuned, and with more purpose. I got the ramp down pat on this lol, but now it's the other essentials. I also need need more recursion IE: stormcloaker Temur Sabertooth Cloudstone Curio Sun Titan etc

I also am looking to add things that will help me get out certain lands faster and creatures that have synergy with them IE: Knight of the Reliquary Realm Seekers Rampaging Baloths Titania, Protector of Argoth etc

This deck is definitely on the beat down plan, but it's designed to survive in a competitive scene, and deal with things. It's kind of toolboxish/rock, but not enough of those qualities to define them as such.

I'm still down for more suggestions if you want, let me know seriously. If you don't have anything you can say, but want to show love in comments that's always appreciated too. You don't have to +1, but it's appreciated, as the deck is still in work, and it might take a turn that you didn't like any more.

Updates Add

Moved a lot of dorks out that weren't that great, plus got rid of cataclysm. I'm gonna make this more beat down plan, but still want it to be quick and make people sad and rethink their life decisions like my best friend says.
