New description on the deck which includes a deck tech :)

Also, a question posed in the new update. I could really use some help on it. I'm currently thinking about removing the 4 Pilfered Plans , 3 Counter spells (not sure which), and 2 Kill spells (not sure which) to make room for the 3 cards in the update. Any thoughts on this slovakattack and plebeianglenn?

Sorry about the absence, let's see what you've got here.

Okay, so first thing's first. I suggested Phyrexian Obliterator mostly as a joke- his price tag is -insane-.

Second, I like the addition of AEtherling as a win-con, and your planeswalkers look fine.

Third, I wold -1 Pilfered Plans , replace Psychic Strike with either Inquisition of Kozilek or some hard mill, and get one or two other hard mill cards in there, like Mind Funeral . Considering that you only really start milling in any substantial form when you get Jace out, this deck is extremely slow to hit the "decking out" win-con.

that and sideboard Extirpate for things like Gaea's Blessing and Eldrazi.

slovakattack, I like the Extirpate as a cheaper alternative to Surgical Extraction , nice find.

as for replacing Psychic Strike for hard mill, I'm not sure that's were I want to go. I like the guarantee cancel it offers. Also, I'm not really banking on the Mill as my main win con, at least, that is not my intention. But I wouldn't mine trying to find other cards to remove for Mind Funeral or even Breaking .

It's looking good. I think playtesting will tell you what other major changes need to be made.

I have just a few suggestions regarding your lands.

I think you should make Darkslick Shores and Nephalia Drownyard 2-ofs, and put the rest in your basic lands. Any more than 1 Drownyard in play is basically redundant, and drawing Darkslick in the later game will hurt your tempo. I'm also not a fan of the scrylands in Modern because of how they slow the deck down, but if they're working for you then by all means use them.

Either play straight mill or play U/B Control, with no mainboard mill cards. Trying to fit in the middle just results in an underpowered deck.

OpenFire so you'd recommend something closer to how my deck was before the latest update, following along the lines of my description?

I have to say, after play testing last night, I'm not that impressed with the hard mill cards that I have in here. Probably going to take the Breaking and Mind Sculpt out for either Remand or Mana Leak and Spell Snare or Psychic Strike

Mana Leak , Snapcaster Mage , Countersquall , Serum Visions , Disfigure . Might want to look at the description, some things are out of date

Snappy is not making his way in due to cost.. Other than that, I like the suggestions, and I have the mana leak in the side already.

I know the description is out of date, and there is a note at the end saying it is. As of now though, I'm not ready to write up a new description until I'm more finalized rather than changing half the deck every other day.

You need the full set of Mana Leak . Extirpate doesn't do enough in the mainboard. Jace, the Living Guildpact > Jace, Architect of Thought .
