Preamble: I made mono coloured decks for my Groomsmen (all at various skill levels of commander) to play against each other in the days leading up to the wedding. Great group of guys, stunned as sin and faces on em' like a boiled boot, but great guys. Naming formula will be following similar structure if you want to stay tuned.

Oh boy. RED DECK U SPICY BOI. With great levels of annoyance comes great power. This deck is pretty strong, but slow (bide your time after playing your commander, focus on protecting your board). It is a "Your Opponents Lands Matter Deck". Make sure your opening hand has at least 3 mana, two of which must be red. That isn't a requirement, but it makes it easier for you.

This deck focuses on getting Zo-Zu the Punisher out on turn 3 or as fast as you can. He deals damage to you as well, but the hope is that he and other cards you control will compound damage. The fact you will have the power of LAND DESTRUCTION on your hands! Well, that encourages others to play more lands. Your land destruction should be used sparingly though. It will make you a target. Some of your land destruction will be like Fissure (which I had to buy a jpn copy of sorryyyy) will give you more than one option, so I encourage you to use them equally!

You will have a modest(not big) artifact and creature ramp to get you more mana. I think 5 cmc (converted mana cost) is nearly the top end of your deck, so you can always choose to not play lands after a certain point for a while!

Rampaging Ferocidon is a great keep as part of an opening hand, so you can balance the 3 mana rule based on that.

Your artifact cards are cool Dingus Egg Ankh of Mishra and combo with your commander and land destruction well, but they also work great on their own.

Lands: Mostly basic. Couldn't commit to much else, most decks will be basic, by design to limit some of the land destruction you have (bring this to the masses another day and play in earnest).

All decks should be powerful in their own way, but Zach and Ben's Deck probably threaten your deck the most, while you conversely threaten theirs as they are resource intensive.

I can't give you all the hints, but go through each section and learn the cards. There are some great cards to look out for in an opening hand.

Thanks for everything gents, wouldn't be the person I am today without ya.
