You need to work out where you want stuff to go; you're gonna really struggle to get the most out of both Dragonlord Kolaghan AND Ulamog's Nullifier as you've got a weird mix of putting stuff in the graveyard and sending them to exile. I'd drop the Kolaghan completely and (given the following suggestions) drop the Nullifier's to 2...

Benthic Infiltrator ins't very good.... For 3 mana, you're better off holding out for a counterspell. I'd recommend Fathom Feeder as he can draw you cards while trading with anything they might want to attack with. Also Herald of Kozilek isn't the backbone of the deck (as much as I love the idea of playing 3 mana land destruction); 4 is way too many. I think he's better off in the sideboard for aggro/ burn as he block s everything, speeds you up and survives everything except Exquisite Firecraft.

I feel like the "weird aggro control" split is gonna leave you with some crappy aggro creatures and not many answers as opposed to a dedicated control deck that can answer everything and an aggro deck than goes off early and kicks ass.

I appreciate the feed back 2npii. The deck does run more control then aggro.I put aggro down in the title it was more because the deck runs some good late game beaters. i understand your thoughts on Herald of Kozilek but i want to keep a few in the main deck because it allows my late game to come in a bit earlier but you think i should put an extra in the sideboard and maybe cut them down to 2-3? and what should i add in its place?

I took your suggestion and cut down on the Ulamog's Nullifier down to 2 and added a third Scatter to the Winds and another Titan's Presence.

Also do you think Jace, Vryn's Prodigy  Flip would be good in the deck?

September 19, 2015 4 p.m.

I would cut down on some of the win conditions (Void Winnower and Conduit of Ruin for example) and add more draw power/removal. You are in blue, so things like Ugin's Insight and Dig Through Time will be great.

ducttapedeckbox Alright I think i could replace Conduit of Ruin. But which would be better Dig Through Time or Ugin's Insight?

Honestly, I'll be running 3 Dig and 2 UI in the deck I play. They're just so powerful. Maybe just one UI.

Why no Ulamog?

Why no Brutal Expulsion? I like it as at least a three of, also running Dust Stalker for a beater while still holding up your control end wouldn't be bad.

Nimbus171 - If you want to commit to control then I'd drop the Heralds own to 1 or 2 and put the rest in the side, drop the void winnower (9 mana + counterspell back up is a lot) and the oblivion sowers and hence, drop all the Titan's Presences. Then you've got space for brutal expulsions and more counter magic. Also Ob Newxilis is perfect here; draw, removal and win con all in one. Also I don't like the sorcery speed card draw. You don't want to spend a turn just drawing cards, you want to do it on their end step so you can hold up a counterspell to stop their siege rhino. Here's my list; Elgrixi. I need to update it to account for new cards, but the idea is lot's of counters, some exile to enable the nulifier, some instant burn-based removal for smaller stuff and some hard removal for bigger stuff, instant-speed card draw to keep ahead on cards and just couple of win-cons, each of which draws cards or removes other things.

Yeah im looking at this deck and wondering if i can actually do anything with it. I mean i could push out and grab the Brutal Expulsion. I can add in more counters and burn spells. But what im now thinking would be better would be if i Moved into Esper. My friend is giving me an entire shell that has most of the base cards i would need and then could build off of. I will put together what the esper deck would look like and post it here to see if it is better. I definately know i want to be in control though. Im not a fan of playing aggro or midrange. I appreciate the Advice ill look and see if its better if not ill push to make this deck into a better control deck. 2npii Your suggestions are good and i will take them into account if i need to change back to this deck.

Alright so with what im getting from my friend this looks like the bases for the true deck ill be going with. Hopefully it fits the theme of control a bit better.

Well i made the suggested changes. It should run alot more like a control deck now. I just misunderestimated the power of Brutal Expulsion and i thought Heralds would have been better than they could be.

I'd add some Disdainful Stroke to the sideboard because between Siege Rhino and other bigger eldrazi, I think you'll need a way to kill the big stuff.

Other than that I love the build and I think I'll try and piece it together if I can. It's expensive, but most of that is the lands and Khans lifelands are a thing and I already have the fetches, so I'll try to play it off of those. I can get by without Ugin or Jace. And most of the rest is bulk rare or cheaper, and I love the flavor in here.

One more suggestion: Drop the Crumble to Dust to the side for Kolaghan's Command. It's a much better spell.

The reason i have Crumble to Dust is because of all of the new nonbasic lands especially the manlands. But i think i can move them to the sideboard. i just think its a wonderful answer early on and feeds Ulamog's Nullifier.

One of my biggest concerns though is wether or not i have enough to be able to win in the late game.

Ob Nixilis Reignited is my favorite win con for this deck; you can cast him relatively early (turn 8) and still hold up protection, then use him to remove threats, draw cards, then eventually win the game. He does eveything! Obviously Ugin is more powerful, but waiting until turn 11 to cast could give your opponent the chance to recover.

Alright so i aded in 2 Ob Nixilis Reignited just to double up on getting than win condition.

Figag Thank you for the compliment and the suggestions. For me i still have to get the fetches but i have been lucky to pull 2 Jace, Vryn's Prodigy  Flip and the Ugin, the Spirit Dragon from packs. its what has pushed me into really enjoying control right now.

Im removing Sanctum of Ugin it only works off of Ugin then i can only find very few creatures. but now the decision is between wether i replace it with Blighted Cataract or Blighted Fen.
