LAND DISRUPTION VS LAND DESTRUCTION

Disrupt the opponent's land base by switching it's produced mana :V

Needless to say this deck becomes less effective when the opponent plays blue and black. Although there are means to go around that Convincing Mirage, Imprisoned in the Moon and Phantasmal Terrain.

You can also disrupt the opponent's mana on the turn 1 with Evil Presence and Sea's Claim.

Managed to sneak in a little bit of card draw there with Baleful Strix, Tainted Well and Lingering Mirage.

THIS IS A SKETCH

Feel free to alter your land base for a cheaper one.

HOW IT WINS

Via the Creeping Tar Pits, Baleful Strix or Karn, the Great Creator. Karn can tutor for any card in the SB.

I decided to add Karn because it felt a little "empty" without it. The main deck is mostly mana disruption so it felt Karn would give a new life to the deck.

Karn can give you a Batterskull, Steel Hellkite or a Wurmcoil Engine or if you want, the entire painter combo: Painter's Servant and Grindstone.

ASHIOK

BTW I noticed that even in casual some people play fetchlands. Which reduce the effectiveness of a sorcery-speed enchantment to disrupt a land. So I added Ashiok, Dream Render as means to stop fetchlands. Also it provides graveyard hate, which is always nice to have.

MODERN LEGAL!

You may or may not have noticed... But the vast majority of cards in this deck are Modern-legal. So if you want to give it a go in Modern, you can. (Just bear in mind the differences). EXAMPLE LIST: WEIRD LAND DESTRUCTION (MODERN)

MONO COLORED VERSIONS

MONO BLACK WEIRD LAND DESTRUCTION

MONO BLUE WEIRD LAND DESTRUCTION
