too many 2 CMC spells. What you're wanting to do is play your token makers and flood the field with 1 CMC spells. Think Swords to Plowshares, Preordain, Brainstorm, Lightning Bolt. These 3 are a must 4 of. That will speed your deck up and make you SIGNIFICANTLY more threatening. isocrhron scepter is a bad card. You can spend to mana, discard a useful spell, and then if they destroy it before your next turn it was worthless and you just discarded 2 of your own cards for 2 mana. Its fun but dont play it in a serious deck. Silence isn't amazing either unless youre playing a combo deck. You really have no use for it. Remand delays more than Silence and Force of Will is obviously 10x better.

@SaljenJust thought I should probably post a response as to why I made certain choices for this deck rather than others though given your suggestions I could definitely see myself making an edit or two or even side boarding a few things. I really like a lot of what you suggested to improve the deck such as Swords to Plowshares, Preordain, and Brainstorm; I opted for Accumulated Knowledge to abuse Isochron Scepter but definitely think the choices you picked for draw are more powerful and am happy you pointed that out as it entirely slipped my mind.

Personally I don't run Lightning Bolt anymore in the main deck though I once did. It is an incredibly good card, very good aggression or early creature removal but for me always seems to fall off around mid game when creatures with toughness greater than 3 become common site or becomes worthless against protection/hexproof/shroud/indestructible which are become more common in most decks and early high toughness card which are also unfortunately more common nowadays; I like swords better simply b/c at least the criteria of high toughness and indestructible don't matter for it's use. I have run it in the past in this deck and found that overall Guttersnipe was doing more justice for dealing consistent damage to opponents, in both multiplayer and 1v1 scenarios. I admit that when I know that a game can't go past turn 4 or 5 I'd probably put it above many other cards in this deck.

This is a player preference thing I know but I can never agree with the idea that Isochron Scepter is a bad card. It is a risk which means it is not a highly reliable strategy but is not a bad card. The risk of it getting spot removed and you loosing 2 cards for 2 mana feels bad and looks bad...but I always feel the need to voice that when a card you play normally is spot removed or countered (which if Isochron is countered you only loose Isochron which is pretty okay considered) it's only a slightest bit better and I do mean the slightest bit b/c regardless you have been denied your action and while the "cost" is different the result is the same and as long as you are willing to make that cost in the first place it boils down to willingness to take the risk; speaking strictly of the potential reward you can get (that is your opponent can do nothing) it's worth the risk to me since this is not meant for high stake competitive play where you must prioritize reliability and even so Isochron Scepter + Silence could always be moved to the sideboard when an opponent runs tons of spot remover.

The last thing I will says is that I will NEVER run Force of Will this is not a statement of it being a bad card in fact it is probably the best blue counterspell ever printed if not arguably the best but this is a statement of it being an $80 a pop card. This deck was not designed with the intention of dropping that kind of money to make it ultra competitive; I realize that theoretically I could put that card in here to make it look really good but I'm not willing to put a card on a deck for display that I don't own and unless by some divine Force of Will will not own. It is nice that you put that as something for those who might look at it and want to try their own hand at building and have that kind of money to spend to know about that and I think you did a great service there. I will keep in mind that I should adjust the maybe board and opt to explain strategies for people who want more reliability or have the money to spend on cards that I know are just a better pick.
