G/W Aggro utilizes low cost, efficient creatures. This deck is great because it outclasses almost every other aggro deck, and can easily beat control post-board. The only deck type that I've noticed that usually beats this deck is midrange because of it's efficient creatures and other spells (especially removal). Selesnya is great because it can work with few lands and still play out well, but it is also not afraid to mulligan if stuck on a one land hand. I like this deck a lot because it has a great tempo, with very solid creatures that find their way through almost anything. Against aggro match-ups, I usually take out all of the Dryad Militant for 2 Banisher Priest and possibly Celestial Flare or Pithing Needle depending on what we're up against. Against control match-ups, I will typically drop Scavenging Ooze and possibly Dryad Militant if I need more room for the optimal post-board game with Witchstalker and Mistcutter Hydra. Most of the other sideboard options are pretty self explanatory against specific match-ups like Glare of Heresy and Rest in Peace.

My best fnm so far with G/W Aggro. In my first match I went 2-0 over a Boros aggro deck whose creatures were easily outclassed by low cost, efficient creatures such as Loxodon Smiter and Fleecemane Lion. Afterwards, I rematched my mono-blue devotion opponent from last weeks fnm and won in 3 games because my opponent had a few poor draws. I then played against the 2nd place player who was piloting a R/W burn deck which beat me in 3 games after I poorly drew in the last game. Then I played against a mirror match that I won in 2 games, and won in 3 against a Naya Midrange deck. Great night overall, very excited for game day
