Wow thanks:) ecpesially the suggestions. I like to build decks and this was a "hey cool I can swing in abunch and make them sad permanents?" "I want to build this!" So I am collecting the cards slowly but (maybe not surly) to make a deck that will crush my opponent.

well, that's my attitude: and to do it with your own brew not someone elses. That's why I chucked a bunch of crap at you, food for thought to make your own ideas. which i have more... just sitting in a class (im bad magic plus math lols)

What I would suggest however is that you test teh deck EXTENSIVLY and then build it/buy it in real life 'when' and only 'when' it is 'finished.' Use 'untap.in' for playtesting against other people. This will save you A LOAD of moneys in the long run as my decks often are 1000+ dollars which is ridiculous. I am on untap.in as nickiru as well if you ever wants to fights :D

oh yah, readin I saw you want budget, k: i definitely can help there. as you saw I like Sun Droplet and Fiery Justice which are 10 cent-rs (worthless): lotus is a couple bucks so test that one extensively before dedicating it to your deck.

just a thought: if you use crap like Gilded Lotus maybe you can find ways to untap it for cheap and profit mana: Voltaic Key would be the best, it also is just GENERAL untap target artifact for cheap so it could have synergic properties if you add other cards to the deck maybe...

this one is REALLY cool: Clock of Omens if you got a lot of little artifact craps out it can be massive mana ramp with Gilded Lotus or whimpy ramp with Darksteel Ingot.

Tower of Eons is spendy with mana but fat lifegain (random thought)

I found that if you want to be able to kill someone if your deck craps out (which happens from time to time with bad draws) if you run a heavy creature base you can just gang beat the enenmy directly: try finding critters or artifact critters that hybridize with mana ramp or whatever your looking for: cause here is what I am thinkin: Dross Scorpion + Voltaic Construct + Thousand-Year Elixir + Knight of the Reliquary so you can fetch lands you need (since ur tron) and she can lay protection on critters with Sejiri Steppe which I use in a lot of my decks as it is very effective in making knight a power house and defensive unit.

other creature craps: Cathodion, Epochrasite is great defense, Myr Superion, Palladium Myr, Pili-Pala and Grand Architect are an infinite mana combo, etc etc blablablabla

if you go a creature base you can be aggressive as a back up, also burns up people's hands of removal and gives you meat shields and allows you to make more use of Clock of Omens for more massive mana ramp synergy.

yes untap is 100% free !!! WOOO

also if you go a creature base: Domri Rade is incredible: constant removal and card draw with epic last ability if you shelter him well for 3 mana

also with creature base: i reccommend Noble Hierarch over Birds of Paradise because of teh exalted to support you twerps in offense. unless you regualrly need the extra mana of 'any' color: otherwise noble covers GWU with exalted

See I just noticed a fatal mistake in me posting a mono g tron. I didn't add to th description that I won't be adding or changing colors. So I just added this and I think that some of the suggestion you have to me were viable but I feel like most of them don't fit into the deck. When I have time I will edit this to be better with the suggestions. And with the budget it was more of a deter so people don't suggest cards that I can't trade for. I mean this as it still is a budget but not a very strict one.

Why limit your colors? the more colors you have the more of each color's benifits you get right?

I mean, its your decision, but Staying with a color such as green is a real limiter if your aim is to dominate.

but cools either way! I can aid in a colorless/green deck. will be tricky: i have a tendency to ignore colors and look only at a the card's abilities and costs only and adjust the mana base accordingly.

Yea I just created an account for untap. Wanna go? I know how that is with just suggesting cards but the main reason why I'm not switching colors is because as your description says you go against the grain. Well so do I and this is pretty fun rather then be like everyone else and be boring.

I'm sorry, man. I don't really have much knowledge on Modern. I really only keep up with Standard, and I've really only been a Magic player since the end of Dragon Maze, so right when Theros was coming out, and am not familiar with the library past that, especially not as far back as when Eldrazi was a thing haha I wouldn't be a good help. I'll give you the +1 to find someone that would be though, good luck :)

That is true. It was a really unique, just for fun deck, that actually does ok in FNM. Let me know how you do if you put it together, and what changes you made.

Im not an expert on these kind of decks but hers my 2 cents.

Try going for a red green so you can get BOLT in, this also allows you to play Roast or maybe Rending Volley against Splinter Twin.

I like the idea, and I think it would be cool to run.

take out x1 Kozilek, Butcher of Truth, and the 1x Creeping Corrosion and sideboard them. Remove 1x Cathodion, then add 3x Ancient Stirrings, this will help search for your Quicksilver Amulet and your eldrazi creatures a lot faster. Also replace the expedition maps with some [Search for Tomorrow], they work about the same only one saves you mana after you suspend it to play other stuff before it goes off
