What about Batterskull and Godo, Bandit Warlord? They work very well with Heartless Hidetsugu.

@Molesto-the-Egregious No point playing for a draw! Hopefully there's enough to stop HH killing me, but it doesn't take long to set another game and try again. Thanks for the +1.
@MasterofMirrodin Do like the idea of including Godo, Bandit Warlord, certainly for searching out Basilisk Collar or the Loxodon Warhammer. Batterskull is obviously another great option, I just don't own one at the moment! Thanks also for the +1.

Heartless Hidetsugu kills people of commander damage. If a player is dealt 21 or more damage by a single general over the course of a game, they lose. This makes killing other people easier, but kills you too.

@Trizzo2 Thanks for the comment.
Unfortunately commander damage only applies to combat damage so Heartless Hidetsugu does have to worry about life totals using his ability. With double damage though that's not usually a problem.

Platinum Emperion can protect you. +1 for the name as well.

@Quicksilver Platinum Emperion would be a great addition, unfortunately I don't own one. But as soon as I pick one up he's going straight in here. Platinum Angel is good, but tends to die a little too easy for my liking.
The name is an obvious throw-back to the old Tom Lehrer song!
Thanks for the suggestion.

@venok I like that quite a bit. Could be a little risky inviting all creatures an opponent controls to attack, but it is certainly worth trying out to see how it plays.
Thanks for the suggestion.

I see that Platinum Emperion is in the maybe board. He belongs topside stat. Also advantageous Quest for Pure Flame

Overblaze seems custom-made for Heartless Hidetsugu. Gives you your Furnace of Rath effect for a turn, but only for the creature you control that matters.
Generator Servant ramps out your commander early, plus he gives him haste so you can immediately activate the ability as soon as he hits the battlefield.
Reforge the Soul might be worth considering running since monored doesn't have very many ways to refuel its hand, plus it wrecks opponents setting up combos or who are playing control.
Hammer of Purphoros is a great topdeck late game, plus it fulfills Fervor's role of enabling your commander's ability as soon as he hits the board.
Mind Stone is mana ramp and card advantage. Probably worth a slot.
Faithless Looting also helps you sort through your topdeck to draw necessary cards.
Caged Sun is incredibly powerful in monocolored EDH; ramp and lord effect wrapped into one card.
Vandalblast is an extra option to blow up all the annoying artifacts your opponents will be playing.
Pristine Talisman at first might seem to be a particularly expensive, mediocre mana rock, but 1 life might be the difference you need with Heartless Hidetsugu's effect to win the game.

Scour from Existence is another way to remove something, in the colorless way, and while it's costly in mana, it costs almost nothing in real money!

Also, Scrap Mastery to deal with artifacts you can't remove, or to recur your own.

I just wanna say that I dig how the title matches the same blunt and disgruntled energy as the main strategy of the deck as well as the commander's artwork.

+1!
I too build my decks with a conclusion in mind. Win or lose.
