I think a Viral Drake would prove useful in this deck. .

@ movarie Tripwire is an account name.... what about it?
@TH30RY633K it could be but it takes the same amount of mana to proliferate with Viral Drake to use Vorel of the Hull Clade 's ability then untap him with something like Niblis of the Breath and use Vorel of the Hull Clade 's ability again. If I am able to do Viral Drake 's ability, It would be wasted mana.

ohh that makes a lot more sense. That would hurt me a lot though, having all my things tapped. This deck would love Tangle Wire if it said each opponent...

I suggest Murkfiend Liege because it could basically be a second prophet of . Especially if you were to go for tangle wire

I could probably take out Ratchet Bomb for Murkfiend Liege and I could take out Ponder for the Tangle Wire . If i put in Murkfiend Liege , I will have three things that do basically the same thing, making the Tangle Wire s effectiveness much higher. Any other suggestions?

I usually like to use Brawn over Crowned Ceratok but for your decklist the latter may work better. Also Saproling Burst looks like it might fit well. Overall seems like a solid build. +1 from me.

I've always been fond of Scavenging Ooze myself.
+1, I love Vorel.
Could you swing by my Gwendlyn deck and give your thoughts?

@Lhurgyof: Scavenging Ooze
is really good! I don't know why I didn't think of that.
I'll go check out your deck right now! Maybe do some playtesting against mine. I've never even seen that Commander before. It looks like it's a lot of fun to play.

it was Tangle Wire also Yeva, Nature's Herald and Orochi Hatchery are fun and cause no one said it yet Doubling Season if you plan to use planeswalkers at all Liquimetal Coating is fun

@ movarie: I just added Tangle Wire
and so far it kind of sucks. The odds of it working well with the creatures that untap my stuff is quite low.
I don't really see the need for Yeva, Nature's Herald
but I'm liking the idea of Orochi Hatchery
. What should I take out for it?
Also, if i get enough money, I'll probably go out and buy Doubling Season
.
What would Liquimetal Coating do for this deck?
December 10, 2013 4:56 p.m.
Like movarie said, Liquimetal Coating turns your planeswalkers into artifacts which you can then double the loyalty counters on with Vorel. But don't put it in unless you're running planeswalkers.

@JWiley129: Oh I see. I never thought of that at all.

probably the Elusive Krasis for the hatchery it seems like a safe switch also Krosan Grip is a better removal spell than the ones you use. Trickbind and Voidslime not bad either to protect against combos

@roiyobee: Contagion Engine is nice but the problem what that is that it is much better to just do Vorel of the Hull Clade 's ability and untap it with something like Niblis of the Breath and do it again, plus i will get a lot more counters on something for just one more mana than Contagion Engine 's ability. The only reason i might like Contagion Engine is for the removal. Other than that, it doesn't bring a whole lot to the deck.

here are a couple more goodies Aphetto Alchemist to help go crazy with your bracers and if you can put a counter on it Viridian Joiner as for your bright rings we got Basalt Monolith for colorless and Magosi, the Waterveil for all the turns

@movarie: I am liking Aphetto Alchemist a lot. I dont think Viridian Joiner would be very consistent to be good and i dont think Basalt Monolith would prove useful whatsoever. I do think i like Magosi, the Waterveil

hi, nice deck! But do you really need Crowned Ceratok? And if you really do need the trample effect, which I can't really tell by just looking at your cards, wouldn't bramblewood paragon be better?
miscellaneous question: how do you link your cards in comments?
December 16, 2013 5:09 a.m.
also winding canyons instead of Alchemist's Refuge or both ;)
December 16, 2013 5:13 a.m.

@KeyCard: I'll probably add Bramblewood Paragon ! I didn't even consider it.
The thing with Winding Canyons is that it only allows me to play creature cards with flash, as opposed to Alchemist's Refuge where I could say, attack, they declare blockers, then flash out Bow of Nylea and give all my attackers deathtouch. It is a little more useful and is more relevant in this deck.
To link your cards, you just put the right bracket symbol (usually next to the 'P' on a keyboard) twice, then the name, then the left bracket symbol twice.

Storm Crow would fit right in here. It combos with everything in your deck.
