Ramp, ramp, ramp to get this high CMC commander down early.

Haste enablers to get Vaevictis Asmadi, the Dire going ASAP!

Extra combat steps to get extra Vaevictis triggers (and incidentally do more damage).

ALL permanents (almost) to take advantage of Vaevictis’ symmetrical effect.

Top deck manipulation and land filtering off the top-of-deck to always hit something spicy!

Plenty of protection and graveyard recursion to avoid commander tax on Vaevictis Asmadi, the Dire and to get back what I sacrifice to his triggers.

Steeling from opponents graveyards because… why not? Vaevictis does such a great job filling everyone’s bins:)

Plenty of card draw and other ways to cheat things into play from my hand and top-of-deck for redundancy.
