What's better than a normal grenade? A werewolf grenade obviously!! Red / Green deck using wolves and werewolves to beat down the opponent. The Mayor and his trusty sidekick, the Huntmaster are the big keys to the deck. Get them flipping to their mightier selves and along with the other wolves they'll be able to mercilessly bomb the opponent.

Tuesday night standard tournament at Source Games.

Match 1 vs B/R/W (0-2)

Started out both games well, dropping early wolves. 2nd game had the opponent down to 5 life before we ran out of pressure and were then overwhelmed by an Olivia Voldaren which grabbed one of my wolves too.

Match 2 vs B/W Control (2-0)

Complete domination, both games my deck was way too fast for his control deck to handle. He was down to hard-casting his Snapcaster Mage just to keep my wolves from transforming. I had an ideal Game 1 as I was able to drop 2 Mayors and a Huntmaster.

Match 3 vs Jund Control (0-2)

Once again we got off to a hot start, Game 1 I swung turn 4 with a Giant Growthed Terror of Kruin Pass. It quickly was Dreadboreed next turn and after that we sputtered. Had to face 2 Thragtusk and just weren't able to keep up, though we got rid of one. Game 2 my opponent was able to drop 3 different Thrags and we just couldn't withstand the onslaught.

Match 4 vs B/U Mill (2-1)

Once again we were able to overwhelm a control deck before it could become established. Mill didn't really have a chance as we struck hard and fast Game 1 and 3. Game 2 I only drew small wolves and my opponent was able to win with an unblockable giant Consuming Aberration.

Match 5 vs Jund Aggro (0-2)

Seems to be a pattern with my deck, we struck hard and fast early in both games, but sputtered once my opponent was able to Dreadbore and gain some board advantage. We don't do well against repeated kill spells, though Full Moon's Rise is invaluable in protecting werewolves if I can get it out.

Takeaways: Against control decks my deck easily is fast enough to overwhelm them before they have any chance to implement their control. For the most part the wolves can play with other aggressive decks, though if my opponent can get a few fatties, it's difficult to regain the advantage. And last, I HATE JUND. We started out well against them each time but the combination of Thrags and Bonfire of the Damned was too much to handle for my wolves. Last, we tend to topdeck too much, but R/G doesn't exactly have a dearth of draw spells. Overall, I was satisfied with the deck and can see ways for improvement!!
